Is NZ a totally socialist nation where the Government pays you and owns all your stuff, or do you folks have to work for your food and junk?
Of course not, we are as Capitalist as the UK or Western Europe. But we also don't think that some deaths in place of saving a few dollars is a fair exchange.
So when you all close down, you just accept that you can't make money during that time, and it's all good, you will just continue doing this for each new case that crops up. If that works for you, super.
But only 20%, that's weaksauce. You do know that we have had vaccines for months now right? Are you people all anti vax, or is it the government holding out on you?
Nah, yeah, nah.
At the time, since we had zero cases of COVID-19 in the community for more than a year, there didn't seem to be any urgency to get everyone vaccinated. And we were being cautious, only using the most effective vaccine and ensuring that people don't get missed out in the rush.
Oh, and vaccination here is entirely voluntary. No lotteries or inducements, no mandates - actual real freedom of choice, not like some of them 'other' countries.
Um, you have freedom to not get the shot, but you are forced to lock down with each new case. Yup, you got the freedom thing all figured out. Way better than most. Derp.

So 0.0004% of the population has it, and this is a reasonable measure? Makes sense them being slow to roll out the vaccines I suppose, you can just lock the country down in a whim and the populace just takes it. Absolutely the test bed for things to come for the rest of western countries.

Right you are! We are living in a time of tyranny brought by a world-wide medical industrial complex.

Where does isolating the healthy play in that scenario?
Also, what is the vaccination rate whereby on par with other vaccines that equal 99+÷ immunity rate?

That's what they do after they put all contacts in quarantine. and wait a few days for no community cases, they step it back to normal over a week or two.

utter garbage. doesn't matter how many 'cases' there are, because 'cases' don't mean s**t. they mean a faulty test is giving the faulty results the faulty governments want to enforce tyrranical oversight. all for a fake plague. nice to see some Aussies protesting this morning. of course the fully armoured stormtroopers are acting according to type and bashing heads, but the resistance is growing, everywhere.

For a single person. Does that make sense to anyone else?
