Gotta look for it on the Wayback Machine because nothing the GOP loves more than trying to rewrite the past.

If only he was still in office overseeing the deal. Instead we get Biden to flout the deal and come up with his own disastrous pull-out.just another reminder of what could have been.

No need to rewrite anything...Biden is POTUS and this is all on him. Funny that folks want to blame someone that hasn't been in power for 7 months...

7 months in and the Left are still trying to pin this on Trump. If it was such a mistake, why didn't Joe and Kamala stop it ?
Oh wait, we haven't heard from either in almost a week. They are ducking the press and according to statements, have no appearances on the calendar.
This is a clusterf*** and the Left haven't done anything to stop it.

It's all optics. Come election time, it's just more fodder for the masses so they can finger point. So the question is, if it's such a tragedy, why isn't Joe stepping in ?

they should keep it up. Any attempt at peace should be celebrated, even if it didn't work.
War isn't a good thing, poor people die, rich people get richer, and nobody on the ground wins anything.

But try to spin it best you can. It's got to be tough hating Trump, but knowing he wasn't in charge when this sh!t sandwich was served. At the adult table, we all know the guy in charge is the guy in charge. Kids like to pretend otherwise.

Do you honestly think it would be any different?

Trump opened a can of worms when he started negotiating with The Taliban.

Biden/Trump - Sold Afghanistan down the river and betrayed a lot of brave people.

45 was the first sitting president to ever have a meeting with the Taliban and goals were set. There were conditions to be met. None of this happened when the new administration came in. It is starting to remind me of when Clinton decided to not hand over intel to Bush in 2000 and we know how that ended months later.

The last time war ended in Afghanistan it led to the creation of AQ. Now, once again emboldened, do we really think there will be a good outcome?

I am sure we will here from Lil Kim within the week also....

Yes I do. I believe the man who destroyed ISIS would do better than the man who helped create them.

Biden wasted absolutely no time signing every executive order that was pushed in front of him. He did everything within his power to erase every single effort Donald Trump made while president in his first 15 minutes in the oval office. This cluster# falls directly on Biden's shoulders. If he wanted it changed he should have changed it like he did with everything else. So there is no need to rewrite anything. Biden owns this lock, stock, and barrel. I have no doubt that this will happen to be the one single solitary thing that he will claim he could not change at around 3:45 pm today regardless of facts.

Well, in 7 quick months we have a US border crisis, rapid inflation, $5 gas prices, Afghanistan has fallen, from energy independent to energy dependent, China making veiled threats at Taiwan and neighboring areas of potential takeover, and a terror network in the middle east just got a crap load of US military hardware... and i haven't even touched on the covid stuff.... but at least we have a President who doesn't tweet mean things, which is so nice!

When they sold Build Back Better I wonder how many envisioned it happening just like this?

They should leave that page and add a link explaining how Beijing Joe screwed it all up.

Oh, wait! Beijing Joe said it'd never happen. Never mind ...

The deranged Leftist cult obviously believes all those things are better than their bullsh!t feelz getting hurt all the time by Trump.

Silly as far as i’m concerned. Making peace with the Taliban was a good thing,

Leaving Afghanistan was also a good thing, if done in a proper and timely manner.

HA HA LOSERS

There is no doubt Joe's Illegitimate Regime utterly failed in its planning

Upon his arrival in the White House, Biden instead decided to instigate a total withdrawal from Afghanistan, setting a deadline of August 31 for completion.

Lets also remember Trump wanted a full withdrawal and Pentagon Biden Clowns lied and only pulled out a handful of troops out, this is a 100% BIDEN WOKE CLOWN WORLD FAILURE

Donald Trump has announced on Twitter that he wants to bring all US troops home from Afghanistan by Christmas – a plan that came as a surprise to administration officials and which puts complicated peace negotiations in jeopardy.

Multiple officials told the Associated Press they had not been informed of any such deadline and military experts said it would be impossible to withdraw all 5,000 US troops in Afghanistan and dismantle the US military headquarters by the end of the year.

They suggested the president’s claim was aimed at shifting the news cycle away from coronavirus coverage and that the Pentagon would not act on the order before the 3 November US election.

The announcement was, however, greeted enthusiastically by the Taliban on Thursday. If Trump follows through, the militant group would almost certainly claim it as a victory, after decades of couching their fight as a war against foreign aggression.

“It’s no surprise that the Taliban have welcomed Trump’s announcement that he’d have the troops home by Christmas. They spent 19 years fighting for this,” said Ashley Jackson, the director of the ODI’s Centre for the Study of Armed Groups.

Rewriting the past ?

Like How Charlie Wilson first got America in Afghanistan and a bafoon from the same party lost it ?

The difference between Charlie and Joe is that Charlies wanted to fight the commies versus Joe gift wrapping it for commies.

This failure of a pullout is on him, but being there 20year too long isn’t all on it.
