The video is highly significant since the whole basis for this is false and based on a computer designed genome from China.

There are many causes of respiratory illness and even pneumonia. There need not be a new virus to cause this.

Any coronavirus should be able to do the job, not necessarily a new coronavirus.

It's very odd that the virus STILL has not been purely isolated as a standalone sample...only reconstructed using fractured DNA fragments to closely match the original manufactured computer model from the contaminated lung fluid of a single pneumonia victim in China.

The study you linked to performed a "comparative genomics study".

Kellis has previously developed computational techniques for doing this type of analysis, which his team has also used to compare the human genome with genomes of other mammals. The techniques are based on analyzing whether certain DNA or RNA bases are conserved between species, and comparing their patterns of evolution over time.

They also used computer modelling.

To facilitate comparison of the genome with other genomes, yes. To look for similarities and determine function. Computers do that sort of thing quite well.
