New York Governor Cuomo resigns in wake of sexual harassment claims

Cuomo announced his resignation at noon on Tuesday. It will go into effect in two weeks. He will be replaced by Lieutenant-governor Kathy Hochul, 62, a fellow Democrat and former member of Congress.

“The best way I can help now is if I step aside and let government get back to governing,”

Cuomo’s exit comes amid talk from the state legislature about impeaching him, following the report by the state attorney general concluding that he was in fact responsible for sexually harassing multiple women

I'm surprised any of this even came to light considering how hard the Democrats work to cover up one another's sexual abuses, so Cuomo must have really stepped on the wrong toes somewhere to be thrown under the bus like this.
I don't know anything about Kathy Hochul but hopefully she does a better job than Cuomo was doing.

Well, that's unexpected, but amazing for New York.

Hopefully they don't replace him with someone who is the same or worse.

Now his brother needs to do the same from CNN, and then they need to shrink away in to the shadows and leave society alone.

Wow the irony, he gets to resign for sexual issues, but no for the dead of soo many elderly in the state, what a slap on the faces of the family that lost their elderly love ones to the Butcher of NY.

They needed him to resign, that way when they go after Ron DeSantis with false allegations, which is coming, he will be expected to resign also.

They're not done with him there. As soon as he resigns, he's open for wrongful death lawsuits. The new Governor might not be able to protect him. Now if we could just get rid of Wolf.

Two things I see here:

1. He's copped to the sexual harassment allegations (no, not copped, rather acquiesced) with likely promises and fervent hope that the nursing home murders will be overshadowed and buried by this.
2. This is intended to be a distraction from Mike Lindell's symposium. Timing is key and there are no coincidences.
