I'm glad someone brought it up. It wasn't long ago everyone on ATS was saying that the President butting heads with state leaders was the sign of an alpha male and a strong leader.
Funny how quickly that tune has changed.

Good thing to see when Biden supporters ignore the Release of Migrants (who desperately need medical help) into populated areas untreated and unvaccinated (especially with children). The Charities can't handle all the needs 😧

It's not disgusting in the slightest, it shows strong leadership. He's being a president and doing what a president does. Leading from the front.
It's a time of national crisis when everybody should be pulling together, and yet here we are with states doing the exact opposite.
Look at it this way, if it were 2020 and the governor of New York were putting politics before people and was letting Covid run rampant through his state, what would Trump have done?
Would Trump have sat by on the sidelines and watched America burn, because he was afraid of confrontation, or would he have stood up and banged his shoe on the table like a gavel and demanded that the governor get his house in order?

As the battle lines for the 2022 election cycle begin to be drawn the Biden administration is becoming more aggressive in calling out Republicans to blame them for enabling covid cases in deaths in Republican states around the country.
For now the Biden Administration are stoping short of blaming deaths on directly on these Republicans; but we are still earlier in the election season.
Help or 'get out of the way.' Biden criticizes governors in Texas and Florida over handling of COVID-19
WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden expressed frustration with Republican governors who are blocking local businesses and schools from implementing coronavirus mask and vaccine mandates as the highly contagious delta variant continues to overwhelm states across the country.
"Some governors aren’t willing to do the right things to make this happen. I say to these governors, please help. If you aren't going to help, at least get out of the way of the people who are trying to do the right thing. Use your power to save lives.
Asked if Abbott and DeSantis are personally making decisions that are hurting their own citizens, Biden said that it was clear to him and most of the medical experts that their decisions are "bad health policy."
"The guidelines are pretty clear as it relates to the benefit of vaccination, as it relates to the benefit of masking for communities that are not vaccinated," she said. “If you’re not going to be part of the solution, if you’re not going to be part of saving people’s lives, then get out of the way and let other people do the job."

The biggest problem I have with this rhetoric comes when I give the president the benefit of the doubt that his opinions are correct on the matter.
Let's assume these Republican governors and states do need to be brought into the fold in order to save lives and beat the pandemic... how is it productive to so publicly and politically attack them? Such bad leadership from the Biden administration will have the exact opposite outcome then the stated goal. And the Biden administration is smart enough to know this. The Biden administration is willing to make more people sick just to score political points; its a bit disgusting.
