receptor binding domain (RBD) of Delta variant while it drops dramatically toward that of Lambda variant. Interestingly, the overall titer of antibodies of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccinated
individuals drops 3-fold after 6 months, which could be one of major reasons for breakthrough
infections, emphasizing the importance of potential third boost shot. While a therapeutic antibody, Bamlanivimab, decreases binding affinity to Delta variant by ~20 fold, it fully lost binding to Lambda variant

While they do twist the results, as always, to make it sound like it's working as intended, they also acknowledge that both Delta and Lambda pose a challenge for the Pfizer.
It would seem that Lambda could become the next problem and will hit both unvaccinated and vaccinated.

BUT

It was not created by unvaccinated in the US. It was discovered in Peru in August 2020 and has from then on slowly spread.
The Delta plus was discovered in a airplane passenger from Portugal in june 2021.

But again, I am really having an increasingly harder time understanding the fear of the virus. It's equal to my trust of the proclaimed necessity of the vaccines.

In Denmark they just released a follow up study on the efficacy of the vaccines from march till august 1st.
They use this study in the media to promote the efficacy, but as always, the media is a microphone holder and don't go into the data.
In the report they write, that one of the weaknesses of the report is that in the periode of the research, the infection rate in Denmark was really really low. Not due to vaccinations, but restrictions.

Further more, their graphs are evidence that the share of vaccinated people amongst the infected is rising up to the cut off data of the study.
Close to 40% of the new infections, from their last data entry is amongst people who had the 2nd jab (21%) or were considered fullly covered, as in 7 days after 2nd jab (18%).

EDIT: AND JUST NOW... the minister of the Health Department has stated: "From september 10th, Covid will no longer be considered a critical disease to society."

My head is spinning!

So the vaccines "work", not because of heavy restrictions...
They have the recent data on the rising breakthrough infections.
They are aware of the Lambda variant.
And we can see 2 weeks into the future that it will not be critical.

Ffs I hate politicians. How hard is to simply acknowledge they had no clue what they have been talking about the last year.

I guess he is ignoring the real science that says it’s actually the vaccinated that are creating the pressure for new variants?
