What are your thoughts on abortion?

My thoughts are that's a different subject.

There are many other choices than pork. Please show how families could no longer afford to feed themselves because the projected pork price rise..?

And if you want to keep pork on the table, then what's your solution for reducing animal cruelty while maintaining prices?

At least California is trying, while most states do nothing or even have ad gag laws.

My issue is that you and others are so ready to shoot down this attempt to reduce animal cruelty without any better suggestions.

Better (non-fascist) solution:

Give consumers a choice, like 'organic'.

Democrats USED to believe in such.

Now we get USCCP.

And By Any Means Necessary.

Wanna guess what always comes after this phase of transformation?

Do you understand how much credibility democrats lose on subjects like 'animal cruelty' by simultaneously supporting baby murdering?

Or by flying untested or vaxxed illegal immigrants all over the country WHILE making fascist demands on citizens regarding covid?

Hint: This causes folks to laugh at you, not listen to you.

Maybe your side should bone up on critical thinking skills?

I'd like to think we can make improvements on these, and a lot of other issue if democrats would only stop the meaningless propaganda and political hypocrisy.

Your current strategy will only work if democrats are willing to go full CCP.

And your leaders know that would lead to extinction of democrats.

One of those things that is always known for life if you've ever experienced it, and nearly impossible to convince others of if they don't figure out on their own.

But you already know this.

Saw it in ancient posts by a master with beautiful mind.

Loved the 1975 climate source btw. Didn't respond to avoid meaningless distraction there.

Hope we will discuss in more detail someday.

Not sure its really possible in current climate.

Not if part of each topic is the perceived moral high ground of putting the comfort and convenience of the individual beneath the protection and caring for of the group in question... be that group livestock or unborn babies.

Explain how it's ethical to favor the luxury (not necessity) of bacon over reducing animal cruelty.

No one will go hungry because bacon will become less available/ more expensive.

Pork meat is not only bacon. Pork meat is not supposed to be considered luxury.

Pork meat used to be an affordable option for people.

Factories of products like sausage and ham will be affected. Means more jobless people.

Maybe some will lose their jobs. You can't keep everything the same if you want to change how the system is run.

Plenty of other affordable options for protein too.

Maybe i just don't want to discuss abortion on a "no more bacon" thread.

You don't see me joining an abortion thread and ranting against everyone because you believe they probably don't care about animal cruelty.

Btw, you labeled me as a Democrat and then said im apart of their propaganda strategy and they're all my leaders.

And people are laughing at me? Get a grip..

You're simplifying two discussions in order to bait me into an abortion argument so u can call me a hypocrite and evil or something.

Not worth my time if you have to resort to whataboutisms.

Sure, on food put "this animal came from a low-living condition" environment.

But imo, the terrible conditions at many facilities warrents the government to step in. Especially when many want better conditions for animals.

not everyone can afford to raise animals like they do in japan, with milk baths and massages. The animals dont care, because the ones raised for slaughter are actually DUMBER than non slaughter animals.
take a second and compare chickens. one is a hen who is a egg layer and runs around a yard with space.
the other is a hen from a slaughter house who was raised from egg to hen indoors.
Left both out in the rain. the 1st hen ran for cover and waited out the rain. the other one..DROWNED STANDING UP.

Point is slaughter animals do not know anything except food, sleep, death. Ignorance is bliss i guess.

That was the same logic slave owners held. Slaves only knew being a slave. They're happy, they know nothing else! They're too stupid to do anything but slave work. They wouldn't even like freedom!

You're okay with animals suffering because we have dumbed them down and broken their spirits.

And that's okay? The logic of you pro-factory farm people is ridiculous.
