Ohh, I’m not. Like I said, I think it was from the Covid. My taste for certain foods have changed.

I can see thousands of small towns popping up just across the border with nothing but dozens of breakfast and other eating establishments filling the areas.

Welcom to Bakenville, just across the border.

Hay buddy, you want a ham sandwich don't you? You can have one free 1/16 sandwich sample and then I will tell you how much it costs. We take all major credit cards.

Probably years of detention while evidence is gathered and consumed, ahem, for science.

And to save Granny...

And funding for a safe space called Porkers prop and Sty.

What if my truck had democrat bumper stickers?

I shouldn’t think that would make much of a muchness Bruv.

How about BLM bumper stickers then?

Democrat's BLM department can throw explosives at police officers without getting arrested.

Surely smuggling bacon is a lesser crime than that?

How much of the pork supply does China own? You think they really care?

I don't know dear Ket, but according to the same source this is a crisis 100% made in USA.

Hog farmers said they haven't complied because of the cost and because California hasn't yet issued formal regulations on how the new standards will be administered and enforced.

Sounds more like an ambush for breeders.

I look forward to the state self correcting as the folks who voted for this realize their mistake and move away.

No! Let whoever votes for madness be stuck in their own paradise!

I'm just outside a Progressive utopia, and we regularly see people move into the area looking for a better way. Who then promptly turn everything they touch into what they fled. Wherever you go, there you are...

Try wild onions. Eating them helped me with that.

I'm happy in the state I grew up in, since I was almost three. I don't want to leave here, but I wouldn't mind the individuals who cant see the consequences of their actions move on.
If that impacts you and yours, I'm sorry to hear that.

I get your argument. I'm not sure you got mine.

But I'm not really interested in helping California.

They made their own bed.

Time to lay in it.

Also think breeders had more than enough time to make the adjustments they need to do, the law was approved in 2018

Not only was half the time 'given" was lost to covid restrictions, but construction material prices skyrocketed. While food producers operate on very thin margins.

If you knew how some of these animals live, giving them a little more room isn't much to ask for.

Just because we eat meat, doesn't mean we have to be dicks to the animals before they are slaughtered.

Nothing wrong with being a human being once in a while.

I think it's a good idea to make them treat the animals humanely if they are being breed for slaughter.

I’m gonna set up a bacon roll shop on the state boarder and call it Mcbacons hog house smoker

1 bacon roll for $50

They’ll pay it

oh they’ll pay it when they smell it in the morning sizzling away

PS You won’t need a vaccine passport

This probably doesn't really have anything to do with the animals. Sure, many of those who voted 'Yes' were probably thinking about the animals, but the synthetic meats industry are the one's who will profit greatly from this nonsense.

No the Cali regs are 100% US, but China has been digging deep into our pork industry because of the infectious swine disease that has pretty well wiped out their own pork crop. So they buy ours to divert our pork to their own people.

How bad is that disease? It's bad enough that even though animal pharma would love to get their hooks into it and start trying to develop a vaccine and/or treatment for it, countries that aren't infected won't allow it in. We're talking Plum Island levels of badness.

So China buys our pork production and they don't care if a state the size of Cali says you have to do it X way, and neither will pork producers. China is the bigger market.

And it's not like Biden cares either.

So Cali doesn't have bacon because they are too good to eat that pork? Then they don't get bacon.

The only thing California and leftists know how to do is ban things.

Between this and their gaming GPU bans I can't imagine there's anyone left in that state that thinks leftist status quo is working.
