The latest in my "You Can't Make This Up" series.
We've all seen the recent censorship, I mean the 'crusade against misinformation'. Misinformation is such a threat that the Surgeon General, Vivek
"Misinformation poses an imminent and insidious threat to our nation’s health. We must confront misinformation as a nation. Lives are depending on
Fair enough. We need to be saved from the evil misinformation demons. But who will save us? We need someone fair and impartial. Someone with no
ulterior motives. No political agendas. Think of Lady Liberty, wearing a blindfold and holding her scales.
So...This is who's going to save us. These are the wise, benevolent protectors of humanity: The government, Google, Facebook, and Twitter.
Now, someone who is that opposed to misinformation and dishonesty should be honest, right? It just stands to reason! After all, misinformation is the
greatest threat the world has ever seen! So let's have a quick look at these great people who have waged war on misinformation.
The government is so mistrusted, that as of 2018, "members of congress" overtook used-car salesman as the
in the U.S. The last four presidential administrations have seen over 50
congresspeople and cabinet members convicted of
crimes like lying to congress, money-laundering, theft, tax evasion, possessing child pornography, witness tampering, domestic violence, bribery,
racketeering and numerous, numerous other crimes.
We could go on for days about how honest and trustworthy politicians aren't.
To say google is dishonest and unethical
would be like saying Jeff Bezos is rich.
These big tech people are like the villians in a Bond film. They're a real-world South Park episode. They're pure evil.
says it all.
This is really priceless: When Facebook was criticized by Biden recently for allowing disinformation (which Biden later retracted), Facebook's
"Vice President of Integrity", Guy Rosen fought back. Rosen said "No, facebook is good!"
85% of U. S. Facebook users
vaccinated, or want to be vaccinated! Rosen also said that Facebook's metrics show that "racial and ethnic disparities in acceptance have shrunk
considerably". You cannot
make this stuff up!
CEO Jerk Dorsey is such a lying p.o.s. that I don't even need to comment, save for
this famous incident
of Dorsey lying
at a Senate Hearing. (again)
Barack Obama, who probably lies every time he opens his mouth, has joined this trendy crusade against misinformation. I'm sure he couldn't wait to
jump on this bandwagon. This guy's hypocrisy is just hilarious. "Obama" and "truth" shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. Barack
Obama and the truth are mutually exclusive. But now, he's
scared of misinformation, and you should be too!
It's the new boogey-man.
Here's some more recent Obama nonsense. They did a PR saying:
"If you want to hang out with us, you'd better be vaccinated!" Michelle made a point of saying how she doesn't lie.
"All I can say is that I have tried to live a
life where I don’t lie to people, and the science behind a vaccine is the same science that’s behind aspirin and insulin.”
Ever notice that when someone tells you how honest they are, that person is usually a liar?
