Just checked the price of crude it's doubled since December maybe they'll have the dosh to push this idea into a prototype

Sounds like they are making a cheap defense fighter with some cloaking ability and low maintenance. At that price they can get 10+ of these for the price of an F35 when fully loaded. Having More is better sometimes. Every time an F35 is shot down, it is like shooting down ten of these. In the twenty five million I doubt if half of the technology upgrades are on it.

It's a good plane but it won't sell well due to Russia's lack of political soft power. With the exception of Serbia and Belarus, no other Eastern European country will even consider buying a Russian plane considering they are NATO states or, in the case of Ukraine, it is not a NATO state but is de facto at war with Russia. The only export for this jet I can see happening are China, Vietnam, Venezuela, Iran. India I think won't be interested considering India is pivoting to the US.
