Once.

Didn't like it.

When they said “No, you eat a dick!” They were being facetious and angry probably didn’t intend on you taking it serious.

You put anything in my mouth Ima going to bite it.

CDC outlines obesity as a severe problem in the US. It also labels it as a contributing factor to covid illness and death. Last stat I read was upward of 70% of covid deaths were morbid obese related.

If the intent is to saves lives long term (and even short term) the focus should be re-directed to fighting obesity. It is as the CDC states an "epidemic" and it's obviously one that if reduced drastically, would save more lives than any vaccine for covid ever could.

We are fighting the wrong "pandemic".

Well, you can bet that at least some politicians and media outlets will put forth "healthier weights" as a benefit to the hyperinflation we're seeing the beginning stages of.

You are now devolving into childish chiding.

I suppose this conversation is now over, yes?

Lol I was thinking your part of the conversation was childish!

I met a nice young Woman who was a loan specialist at our bank.

Her husband wanted to "fit in and be accepted" so he was always worried he was to fat and dieting.

When he died of cancer as she said starving before her eyes she was so angry, The world felt he was not good enough as he was and she would give anything to have her husband back overweight but happy with himself.

She hated the way society pressures and abuses so that People like her husband could not just enjoy their life.

So many wear holes in their pants so they can look like homeless people because whatever society decides you need to do you do it!

Maybe add some silicon and inject nerve killer so you have no wrinkles, how about huge fake eyelashes with thick poison on them to ruin your eyes, risk surgery and death...all ok by those who pretend to care about health but are really only interested in looks!

Once again, sunshine I'm not judging YOU. I didn't write this post with YOU in mind.

Grow up.

You know you do talk down to people a lot. This does say a lot about you.

There's nothing in the rules of capitalism about educating society on how to consume less. That's not how industry works. George Carlin said it best:

It's not that complicated.

Consume healthy stuff and you can consume stuff that is maybe more expensive but less of it. You're still spending as much or even a bit more but cutting back on what you eat at the same time. Win/win.

It's a nice story, but the cancer was the problem and not anything else.

Cancer takes everyone. Believe me I know. I've seen all kinds of people come across my desk in my job now. We've had addresses at penitentiaries, trailer parks, and houses that are worth a load and dough. I've no doubt the patients are fat, thin and every weight in between, young, and old alike.

And ... if you check, one of the universal signs of cancer is always unintended weight loss. One of the side effects of treatment is often weight loss.

So I'm sorry she lost her husband to cancer, but his weight issues were from the disease and would have plagued him no matter how happy with his body he was or wasn't because that's just cancer.

This would seem to be at the root of many societal problems these days. That said, is it a problem with society or is it an individual problem, a mental illness that drives people to feel a compulsive need to fit someone else's mold or even to be "accepted?" Hell, look at the vaccine nonsense... how many people got the shots just because others were doing so and, more importantly, how much have government officials leveraged that mental illness that drives people to follow the crowd in an effort to peer pressure people into getting those shots?

Exactly and people need to learn to be individuals and stop telling others who they need to be.

No. I get your point which is to say that no one should talk about how people are overweight and that's not healthy. Then you went on to expound upon this man who constantly was unhappy being overweight, and then he got cancer which made him starve.

Of course, his wife was upset because he was unhappy being overweight.

But if that was your point, you didn't need to throw in the cancer and how it starved him. It felt like a dig to me that you included that to make us all feel bad for criticizing overweight people. Look - here is this man who is unhappy that he can't be thinner and when he gets thinner, the thing that made him thin finally kills him, so you should feel bad for bringing this up.

Well that was quit convoluted!

Her sorrow was that they could not have enjoyed the time they had fully because people and their judgements! The most health obsessed may be dead tomorrow!

She was saddened that people could not see that and instead spent their time worrying they are to big, to ugly or need to live in the gym instead of enjoying the time they have with those who love them.

I don't have the time or inclination to spare feelings for someone who can't be bothered not to internalize what is very clearly not about them.

Also, not the topic.

My advice would be to not whine at me since I don't care. Either address the topic or stop addressing me.

40-50% of ALL China Virus deaths had the comorbidity of diabetes...according to the American Diabetes Association.

We should all just trust the science!

One of the main causes of diabetes is Obesity.

If you're overweight and diabetic then you have two known Co morbidity. If you have Hypertension which is also often caused by Obesity then you have 3 related risk factors.

Obesity is at the root of a lot of this, general ill health through age is also a risk factor.

It’s going to be ok, we are the point where a double quarter pounder with cheese is becoming unaffordable therefore unobtainable.

Where I live a quarter pounder with cheese is cheaper than a bag of apples. This is because our farms are well regulated and deliver a constantly high quality product and so are expensive to run, but the fast food industry makes garbage and so is cheap to run.

An apple picker gets a living wage, a burger jocky doesn't.

You made it the topic in many of your posts, AND I will address you as I please you seem to feel the need to control others in many ways, I guess your a my way or the highway kind of person.

You are not beautiful at any size. You are not healthy at any size. Whoever is gaslighting the country into believing this nonsense is actively trying to kill people with all manner of diseases attributable to obesity. Being obese is venerated and normalized rather than actively worked against because people's stupid feelings are being pandered to by people who say idiotic things like "healthy at any size."

True as health options of many kinds effect our lives, the point is whos business is that?
Do you think others should come and tell you you should do what they say because it is healthy?

The only interference we have a right to in others personal lives is to let them know biblically that god does not want gluttons.
A glutton though does not have to be fat, they may throw up or eat more and run it off they didn't need it.
What is a glutton person?
1a : one given habitually to greedy and voracious eating and drinking.
