This is a pretty big win for diversity, lol.

A week's worth of asspat articles about this stunningly brave magazine that has been irrelevant for decades putting a trans on the cover. SI is going to sell a whole bunch of this issue.

Peak grifting, and the left will throw their money at them for it.

I say well done, Sports Illustrated.

''Be All That You Can Be''

This Leyna person has.

No, this person hasn't. This person is pretending to be someone they cannot be... a woman. This person is hiding behind a persona... behind a costume... behind a stolen identity.

Doesn't matter what he adds and subtracts... surgically or chemically. Doesn't matter what clothes he wears... or doesn't wear. Doesn't matter how he adorns himself... or not. And when he learns that his "womanhood" is skin deep -- just like his beauty -- he'll be in for a very rude awakening.

He will never be a woman. And it does him no favors to pretend otherwise.

LOL

Some guys are going to be pissed when they learn they just spent 15 minutes in the bathroom with a trusted magazine, only to find out the cover girl is a DUDE!

HAHA

The only real question is, which bathroom does she use?!

15 minutes? That's like a marathon session.

I remember when the swimsuit issue was unacceptable way back in the 1990's.

Honestly I wonder how accepted I would be if I just painted myself brown and said I was African American.....oh wait....thats shunned as "blackface" and considered racist. But meh.....trannies.

As has been pointed out she is not the first transgender on the cover. However there is this drive in our modern society to label each and every ''first'' that can show up on any list of accomplishments. Branson, the first space ship owner in space. Bezos, the highest spaceship owner in space. Wally Funk, the first space cadet over 80 in space etc.

Also, who TF still reads Sports Illustrated? This is like being the spokesperson for MySpace.

I found it interesting, the different ways the reports were made.

First Transgender Woman
First Trans Woman of Color

Since she is the first known trans woman on the cover, what difference does her color make? Unless they know something they are not telling.

This person was the first WHITE Transexual on the cover, about 12 months ago.

www.vogue.com...

So a transgender has made the cover before, and women of color have made the cover before, so I guess they had to go with the first trans woman of color angle to get the publicity.

Thanks. I am a little slow with this stuff.

The same folks who can't figure out how to get ID'S or make photocopies....they are all still reading the physical issues from their mail while they check out their TV Guide.

So, Boomers? Gotcha.

Tell them to use their AARP card for the 4:30PM dinner discount.

Minorities read magazines? As a formerly white person myself I can tell you I haven't read a magazine in ages.

I wonder if any reasonably normal heterosexual male would date a transgender?

Then I think surely not, that's just insanity. So we'd probably have a sort of gender bender guy dating a woman who used to be a guy, both deep down looking for a straight heterosexual male that wouldn't touch either of them with a barge pole.

It's all sort of ironic lol

Just what is the plan here ? all this he-she-they-them- is aimed at the younger generation/kids is it to say it's OK to be you or sell them a different lifestyle ?

God knows the amount of advertising money being spent to target the kids with this stuff .

To each their own i could care less what anyone wants to be , But there sure seems to be a agenda .

Looks like a girl, kind of acts like a girl. Now maybe she actually was a girl pretending to be a boy then decided she would become a girl again since they have a right to do that now, women have always had the right to change their mind, guys don't.

Ok, glad I am old and don't have to worry about dating anymore. If something happens to my wife, I will marry a cat that identifies as a human woman. I think with the new laws they will have to allow that kind of marriage in ten years, either way, I doubt if I will be worrying about sex when I am seventy five.

No younger generation person is reading Sports Illustrated, it's a magazine, you know, a dying form of publishing.

Though you offer this as a ''side'' with a bit of comic relief, I think that this whole issue really takes a deep dive into the realities of sexual identity that most here are not willing to consider as it transgresses upon the firm senses of self so many are embedded within.

There are no chicks with dicks only dudes with tits.

Never accept someone who can never accept themselves.
To those who say “but this is the real them” your just flat out wrong.

No one needs drugs, surgery, indoctrination, and never ending support in a attempt to become something physically unobtainable in order to “be themselves” they are victims of a system that has lied to them condemning them to a life of chemical emotions and mutilated bodies. Their goal literally forever out of reach by way of the very genetic fabric of who they are that which they themselves reject.

Yup. I noticed that about SI way back when the swimsuit cover became it's major selling point. I recall the uproar of the whole issue of ''soft porn'' that was raised at the time. Now however it's culturally accepted.

This gets me to another observation. My news feed is Yahoo, for what ever that's worth. The point being not's it's value as a news feed but that it is a HUGE news feed.

Anyway, on that ''newsfeed'' there are now a growing list of women wearing bikini's. Tis bikini and that bikini. This toned ab gal of 50 and that big butted gal in a bikini. That and these ''red carpet'' dresses that can be seen though or daring peekaboo blouses etc. The list grows longer and longer leaving only the slightest room of imagination.

Regular women, celebrity women, celebrity women most of us have never heard of before. I'm wondering how much longer there will be any dress codes at all.

Public nudity might be right around the corner.....
