Unlike you, a "tourist" willing to lie about what has been happening in Cuba, I was born there. I saw and experienced first hand the reality of Cuba, and i still have family there including two sisters whom frequently ask us to help them get out of Cuba, but it isn't that simple more so for regular Cubans to escape/leave the socialist/communist dictatorship you are willing to lie for...

My sisters, uncles, cousins, etc have to stand in very long lines waiting for the occasional "chicken" or other products the communist dictatorship allows some Cubans to buy if they have the money. All of the time the large majority of people waiting, sometimes they wait for up to 3 days and have to take turns between different family members, the food runs out leaving most Cubans without the chicken or other food the communist dictatorship made available.

My sisters have called us crying asking us to get them out because they do go hungry even with the money we are able to send them and we are not rich people at all.

You don't know crap about the real Cuba because you are only a tourist, a tourist willing to use the same lies the communist dictatorship makes to this day blaming everyone else but themselves for what has been happening in Cuba... Similar to how your China Biden has been blaming President Trump for the decisions and actions taken by the CHINA BIDEN ILLEGITIMATE ADMINISTRATION.

Cubans have no firearms, like democrats/RINOs are trying to do in the U.S., the communist dictatorship did send militiary people and house by house they searched and took away everyone's firearms...

The Cuban dictatorship has gotten help from China, Venezuela, and other communist countries which sent special forces and military personnel to stomp the protesters.

There are Chinese, Venezuelan and other military in Cuba right now still helping the communist dictatorship stop the protests...

But you get lying left-wingers claim "oh the millions of Cubans now protesting are part of a CIA operation..." Unbelievable...

The Chinese Communist Party is sending paramilitary trainers to Cuba. ADN Cuba, a Spanish-language media platform focusing on Cuba, obtained exclusive photos showing a Chinese military officer training Cuba’s black berets unit. The unit, formally known as the National Special Brigade, has videos and photos showing them attacking protestors during the recent Cuban protest.

Joining me are Gelet Martinez Fragela, the director of ADN Cuba, and Orlando Gutierrez Boronat, an exiled Cuban author. Martinez-Fragela believes the black berets are receiving training from the same armed police used against the Hong Kong protestors in 2019, and they may be exporting their tactics to the Cuban government.

The Northwood "so called operation" (you have got to wonder why is it still called an operation when it was never implemented) was introduced by one military high ranking officer as a possible scenario to be used. Yes it was a messed up plan, but it was never implemented.

That doesn't disprove, nor does it prove # about the protests in Cuba "being a CIA operation..."

in case you have been sleeping at the wheels the CIA, FBI, etc have been weaponized by the Obama administration and they are VERY FAR LEFT. They haven't done crap about the large majority of rioters from BLM, Antifa, etc, meanwhile claiming that all Trump supporters are "insurrectionist and terrorists..."

The CIA, FBI, etc are full of pro-socialist and pro-communist infiltrators by the Obama/Biden administrations.

You , you family and your sisters in Cuba have my sympathy.
I totally agree that Communism is an inhumane system.

Truly unbelievable the support communism gets on US campuses.
Most of those "communists" are just extremely lazy people who do not want to work and dream of a self-important job handed to them by "daddy" government , with high pay and high status that does not require real work, like political commissar.

Does not make sense to sanction Cuba any more.

Biden could unilaterally make it the 51st state and put them all on Universal Basic Income
and then allow us to go there for Medical Vacations

If we had opened travel to Cuba 20 years ago, they would have gotten a taste for freedom and been a Democratic Republic by now.

really, only travelers from the US can do so? considering ONLY the US had banned their citizens from going to Cuba. in fact Cuba has been a poplar vacation spot for everyone else, especially Canadians for far longer than 20 years. even many Americans have vacationed in Cuba the whole time, just going there from other countries such as Canada. with Cuba helping them out by not stamping passports, just stamping a piece of paper, put in a passport, then taken out when people leave. about 30 years ago i even had a coworker who went to Cuba, pretty much every year. i know a lot of Canadians were actually mad when the US started to talk about letting Americans go to Cuba, because they didn't want more Americans to go. (remember American tourists have a bad reputation in much of the world, only being overshadowed in Asia by the Chinese and Australians). so no, the US opening travel to Cuba 20 years ago wouldn't have done anything like "they would have gotten a taste for freedom and been a Democratic Republic by now".

Most likely the protests you see there on TV these days are promoted and enabled by some individuals associated with the CIA.

oh you mean just like so much of the protesting in the US (such as all the big "anti-war" protests during vietnam), were promoted and enabled by Russia. or even the simple fact that Castro taking over in the first place, was supported and enabled by Russia. and the likewise Cuba supporting other communist tries at communist takeovers and communist governments in South America, and anyone want to bet equally involved in such things in the US.

Certainly the difficulties experienced by all Cubans today is the direct result of years of US sanctions. The same could be said of Venezuela and too many other countries.

LOL, LOL, LOL

sanctions only work if EVERYONE is doing it. the fact is that all the sanctions really did was give cuba's communist government an excuse as to why their communist utopia wasn't a land of bread and honey, with all citizens having everything their hearts desired. it actually helped cover up all of their corruption and mishandling of everything. those sanctions certainly did not hurt the cheap availability of everything in the tourist zones, where ordinary Cubans were banned, except for those who worked in them. never a shortage of booze, food and goods for all the millions of tourists to buy (although much of the booze was free, part of the cheap vacation packages).

Death threats for speaking or publishing the truth? Say it ain't so!

Similar threats are made to doctors in the US who dare speak the truth about the dangers of the clot shots.

Most of your posts are full of lies, so I really do not what to make of what you write. It is comical that someone like you who can not keep their stories straight is calling me a liar

Times have changed for Cuba and currently they are having a major economic crash that is directly related to COVID and lack of tourism. Furthermore they are struggling to get the population vaccination and COVID because they do not have the resources the rest of the modern world does.

The collapse not the Soviet Union was a particularly rough time for Cuba, hence the spike of refugees after the collapse.

The US embargo has caused great hardship on Cuba, this is one of the primary breasons why they continue to struggle.

That said, I think the US should annex Cuba and make it the 51st state but we know that will never happen.
