It was for the Prom , they weren't tattoo'd and it meant the school could hold the Prom and stay within State guidelines.

"We are aware that some concerns have been expressed that students were singled out or had their privacy violated. We made every effort possible — while adhering to contact tracing guidelines — to ensure that this did not happen. We hope the community will understand that while no model is perfect, this model let the students enjoy a close to normal and highly desired experience to cap off their senior year. That's the memory we want to leave them with."

Your faux outrage and Nazi comparisons are a little over the top.

So no BS, real life answer here, does this bear any resemblance to any historical event you can think of?
It's OK, you don't have to answer out loud. Can't disappoint the base.

Progressives here seem to be very supportive of schools discriminating and labeling kids.

Can't label students "Male" or "Female", "Boy" or "Girl"...but LITERALLY labeling students "Vaxed" or "UnVaxed" is GOOD.

It's called "Critical Vaccine Theory".

None whatsoever and to suggest it does cheapens the actual atrocity.

What's next comparing the school dress code to gassing Jews?

You guys with your drama and exaggerations crack me up.

Someone's passport has their name in it; it's totally worse opression than in the holocaust.

Athetes wear race numbers/coloured jerseys while competing. Auchwitz would be like a 5* hotel to how hard done by athletes are.

etc...

So you SUPPORT discrimination in schools...and schools singling out certain students as 'undesirable' for ridicule.

Let me guess....you enjoyed wearing that Dunce Cap back in school because it made you feel special.

Pretty sure the Romans numbered their slaves.

Pretty funny....and more disturbingly the one context where the theory might have merit.

LOL

it's cool. remember, I gave you the pass already. No need to tarnish that stellar rep.

If anything, what the school did is...pay homage to the atrocity.
Imitation is still the highest form of flattery.

I'd bet the school also preaches about acceptance, empathy and inclusivity as well.

Give them the chance to show some of that compassion we keep hearing about aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's gone!

What the school did was enable their students to have a Prom Night within the rules applied , if they had not the students would of missed out on an American tradition , the end of school Prom .... yet you complain when you should be congratulating the school for affording their students that right of passage.

Yeah , Nazis.

It's no big deal either way to me, but American traditions LOL, please. Let's not act like we give a chit about American traditions.

Besides, I work in the prom industry for the last 30 years there are fewer and fewer students attending, even before COVID.

Not to mention 90% of the attendees likely proceeded to leave the prom and spend the rest of the partying together at a hotel or someone's house. That's the American tradition they were all tying one on, and hanging out and trying to get laid,

I'm pretty damn sure none of them were checking numbers to see who was vaccinated or not.

It's okay...one of those 'numbered' students managed to Spike-protein the punchbowl.
