Has anyone heard reports a few weeks ago that there have already been some dogfights above and attempted landings on Taiwan that were decisively turned back by US, Aussie, Taiwanese and other forces? I can’t remember what interview I heard that had someone with contacts inside China that confirmed this and there is quite a bit of infighting taking place within the CCP.

If this is happening I can see why it would be suppressed since we still can’t get accurate death counts in our own country for COVID and vaccine related deaths. For those people waiting for WWIII I hate to tell them it’s here and has been going on for awhile.

The dogfights would have been reported in Military Times.com which I have not seen any reports of such.

Look up Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty

Although the treaty had no time limit, Article 10 of the treaty stipulated that either party can terminate the treaty one year after notifying the other party. Accordingly, the treaty came to an end on January 1st, 1980, one year after the United States established diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China on January 1st, 1979.

The authority for President Jimmy Carter to unilaterally annul a treaty, in this case the Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty, was the topic of the Supreme Court case Goldwater v. Carter in which the court declined to rule on the legality of this action on jurisdictional grounds, thereby allowing it to proceed.

So honestly, not sure if we would get involved. And certainly not with this administration.

This article is a little vague to me..

On 18 September 2015, the National Diet enacted the 2015 Japanese military legislation, a series of laws that allow Japan's Self-Defense Forces to collective self-defense of allies in combat for the first time under its constitution. The Self-Defense Forces may provide material support to allies engaged in combat internationally. It also allows JSDF troops to defend weapons platforms of foreign countries that contribute to Japan's defense. The justification is that not defending/supporting an ally would weaken alliances and endanger Japan. These were Japan's broadest changes to its defense laws since World War II.[33]  The JSDF Act was amended in 2015 in order to make it illegal for JSDF personnel/staff to participate in collective insubordination or to command forces without authority or in violation of orders, which was stated to be the reason why Japan was involved in China in World War II. A Credit Suisse survey published in 2015 ranked Japan as the world's fourth most-powerful military behind the United States, Russia and China.

only two reports about China actually flying in Twain's air space. and only one says anything about of the countries you mentioned. well there's three that i found, but the third one is from the BBC and i think it's about the same one as NPR

this was the latest,

China has flown 28 warplanes into Taiwan-controlled airspace, the biggest sortie of its kind since the Taiwanese government began publishing information about the frequent incursions last year.
China Sends A Record 28 Military Planes Into Airspace Controlled By Taiwan

Taiwan has said a record number of Chinese military jets flew into its air defence zone on Monday. The defence ministry said 25 aircraft including fighters and nuclear-capable bombers entered its so-called air defence identification zone (ADIZ) on Monday. The incursion is the largest in a year and comes as the US warns against an "increasingly aggressive China".
Taiwan: 'Record number' of China jets enter air zone

this mentions the Australian , Japanese and U.S. navies sailing through the China Sea and the straight between Twain and china , but nothing about dog fights. only mention of other aircraft were Taiwanese and they escorted them out of the area.

TAIPEI - Taiwan says Chinese military planes have flown into its air defense space six times in a single week and eight times this month, so far. Although Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense escorts each aircraft away and alerts the public on an island that has long distrusted China, analysts believe leaders in Beijing are warning people as far away as Washington while helping to train their own troops in case of conflict in Asia.
China Sends 8 Military Planes into Taiwan Airspace; Analysts See Move as Warning to US and Others

if there was a dog fight that actual missiles or shots were fired, it would be news of it all around the world, that or it's one of the best kept secrets of 2020 or 2021.

Tell Taiwan help is on the way...just as soon as Kamala gets there, but she hasn’t been to Monte Carlo yet.

Exactly my point. You really think Biden is running things?

.........I want to say no way because he can’t pet the dog without breaking his leg......but then I see the way things are ran and think that they really didn’t go into much detail about Champ dying, so maybe he is......

Lots of finger tapping while I am thinking, I know that.
