With Democrat fear and paranoia ratcheting up a little more each month, as Joe Biden's appearance of illegitimacy increases, the Department of Homeland Security is Monitoring Online Communities where "RADICAL POLITICAL EXTREMISTS" Communicate:

In the briefing, Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) asked Cohen how DHS is following the spread of disinformation and conspiracy theories, as well as the way that discourse can fuel violence.

She specifically brought up the conspiracy theory claiming Trump will be reinstated as president in August — a theory Trump himself has reportedly promoted.

Cohen replied that DHS is not aware of any specific, credible threats of violence linked to the conspiracy theory about Trump being reinstated.

But he added that DHS is following discussion of the topic online among extremist communities.

And he said department officials are highly concerned about it because it fuels the false narrative that the election was rigged — a narrative that may trigger a violent response from extremists.

Is it likely that AboveTopSecret.com and the discussions herein are being monitored by DHS, and (likely) other agencies within the paranoid, guilt-ridden Joe Biden administration?

If so, that's good news, for several reasons.

This site has been watched for years so the simple answer is yes. Though some of my favorite rumors was springer was actually CIA.

You probably don't remember this

The problem is we all knew it wasn't true but I guarantee it put the site on watch lists.

They would be bigger idiots than some think already if they do not monitor this site and many many others if their goal is to tag someone. Unfortunately you have to wonder if this will be a "tag and release" at some future date.

You listen to some of the talking heads in D.C. and you wonder what planet or country they arrived from ?

Of course we're being monitored.
We are those who dare to have an opinion, rather than follow the herd. We question the official narrative and that seems to disturb them the most.

* waves to DHS * Hi Guys ! You know Orwell's 1984 wasn't a playbook, right ?

Well, good luck to them with that, particularly if they're monitoring the mud pit. I posted this years ago, and it's still as relevant today as it was pre-mud pit.

The following video represents what many of the threads in the mud pit actually sound like after the first few posts;

If you use a cell phone or computer or do online gaming you are being watched.

We've been watched since October 26, 2001.

True story.

We're all on a watchlist, and our biometric data and internet footprints are stored in Utah.

The NSA monitors every online transaction or post on the Internet. You don't have to even do or say anything.

Snowden revealed the situation in his book "Permanent Record" which points out that not only is everything watched, but it stored forever and can be called upon at any time to smear someone.

Cohen replied that DHS is not aware of any specific, credible threats of violence linked to the conspiracy theory about Trump being reinstated.

But, he added, he was hopeful his undercover assets would have something planned in the coming weeks.

That will be one reason why the Mods keep bumping the thread about not making threats or calls to violence. That kind of thing is the first target of monitoring.

Do remember a time when ATS had little to do with political cultism but that's a good point there about the NSA.

Would also say folks have to be painfully naive not to suspect that paid Cointelpro operatives are in active, open play on 'conspiracy' forums:

Government plans to monitor and influence internet communications, and covertly infiltrate online communities in order to sow dissension and disseminate false information, have long been the source of speculation.

 Harvard Law Professor Cass Sunstein, a close Obama adviser and the White House’s former head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, wrote a controversial paper in 2008 proposing that the US government employ teams of covert agents and pseudo-”independent” advocates to “cognitively infiltrate” online groups and websites, as well as other activist groups.

Sunstein also proposed sending covert agents into “chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups” which spread what he views as false and damaging “conspiracy theories” about the government.

The NSA links with ATS has popped up occasionally over the years. As for the guys at DHS, I guess this is one thread that will get some attention.

Welcome, if you are a new recruit, check out WCT7 with 9/11 to find out which way up is. If you are more seasoned in this profession then I guess you already know where your pay check comes from. Homeland security is a big issue, we all want to look after our family, friends and neighbors. Digging through all the threads and discussion on these boards is a full time job, a lot of it usual ra ra stuff, occasionally some nuggets of truth turn up to help find some perspective to the information war going on.

What kind of homeland do you want? One that runs on corruption, blackmail, deception and ends up killing most of us. Or one that is based on truth, honesty, honor and leads to a more prosperous world? It is a hard lonely road if you are going to be whistle blower and challenge the culture of depravity. You will feel alone at times, threatened and could cost you your job.

About 5% of the population is sociopath, 1% psychopathic. These attitudes to tend to rise to the top of the capitalistic chain with their win at all cost approach. There is also long term, entrenched cultures of abuse out there, it is going to take time to change. Bringing some of this darkness to the light is a tough and dangerous job.

ATS was cited as being a hotbed for anti vaxxers long before covid, and a hub for 9 11 conspiracies. its probably been monitored since the Bush administration (when was the forum started?).

On a side-issue, this post appears on my account as a reply to me, which confirms what I have long thought about an occasional glitch in the software.
I suspect that chronaut does NOT find it on his own list of "replies received".
