And neither him nor his passenger had a phone with a camera?

Maybe he was actually flying the airplane and not taking UFO pics?

I'm also a pilot, and sometimes mount a GoPro under the wing. Sometimes I don't. You can't legitimately say "He didn't mount his GoPro when he usually does, so he's a liar."

It's not like having a camera ready in case a UFO shows up is on the pre-takeoff checklist as a safety of flight item.
