That is one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time. I binged it last year and it was a hoot. Not as good as Yellowstone tho.

For all considering viewing...

It's one of those love it/don't get it shows. I've not heard many people say, "Eh, was alright."

I enjoyed it, mostly because it reminded me of some of the buffoonery I'd seen in the Air Force. As I watched it, I thought if I didn't have a military background, I probably wouldn't have found it nearly as funny.

Half an episode would probably do the trick to figure out if it'd be enjoyable or not.

Ha, didn't event know of this series. I'll give it a watch just because of John Malkovich.

Coincidentally, Fred Willard (Fred Naird) played in the comedy television-movie Space Force (1978). Fred Willard reprised his starring role on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to poke fun at Trump's planned Space Force.

Was just my personal assessment. I found my background enhanced my enjoyment of it.

I watched a couple first episodes with people without military backgrounds. They didn't seem to find it as funny.

Could well be I'm making a faulty generalization .
