Jesus, did your family live in the Wuhan lab? I do not know anyone that has had covid personally yet it seems every member of your family got it with serious complications. I find that hard to believe... as a matter of fact i don't believe you

I'm about 6 months after covid, and I still do not have my smell or taste back.My world is really bland now.
But I survived and considering that a lot of people my age 72 died from it. So I'm good.

My aunt was 98. I have 5 family members who have had it, 3 with serious complications. You're making stuff up again. My family is huge.

Good to hear, buddy. The bland world sucks, but at least you're alive. My daughter who can't smell or taste will be 16 next month. I really hope her senses come back

It is getting to the point where leaving this world is more appealing than staying.

They have used up their fear allowance on me. I fear very little at this point. Dying is not on the list. Being oblivious to the insanity in this world may be a reprieve, and the only way they are going to be able to take me out, without a fight.

I've made my peace with the world and the absolute unchallengable fact that I will die, everyone I love will die and that is how the world works.

Is it worth it to live under a totalitarian regime, after last years example of how totalitarian Democrats (Governors) were under COVID I wonder if a future under Democratic Party rule it is worth it, even for my young grandchildren.

Don't worry, I won't do anything to myself or anyone, but WHEN they die, if I am alive, I will know they have had good lives and will be spared the world that is to come. The new normal of the Democratic Party government appears to be so totalitarian and the government so ugly to people they decided are evil (wrong skin color) or don't tow the liberal line, which changes nearly daily, that life may not be worth it.

COVID 19 showed me clearly what life under the Democratic Party were willing to do to their people. New York Democratic Party politicians sent COVID contagious by law into nursing homes where thousands of people died as a direct result. Whitmer was such a dictator and such a totalitarian that she made the Chinese government look like a permissive loving and caring government.

I learned a lot - long term about life and the life I don't want for the future of my children and grandchildren and rule under the totalitarian Democrats who loathe white people and are encouraging discrimination against white people (to end discrimination as they double speak say). It looks like segregation is returning (white people excluded from dorms/spaces) and being from a multi-racial family this philosophy the Democrats are pushing are encouraging - people to hate anyone not of their own racial group. This kind of world will be pure hell and evil. So when I or my family members die, it might just be an improvement over life under a world like the new normal that is being created.

No, you're not supposed to care that my great aunt died. I did, we were pretty close. But her death wasn't a peaceful death like she deserved.

Masks during this were like our parents telling us to cover our mouth when we sneeze.

No entire economy shut down, and this was a great opportunity for us all to come together for a common cause.

We didn't, and we're so polarized that you're mocking me here over my great aunt's death, and the fact that my little sister has permanent brain damage.

Fine, then I will say it - THE VACCINE IS BAD.
Unnecessary first of all due to lack of a virulent and dangerous virus.
It confers no benefits; no immunity, does not prevent spreading, may alleviate already mild symptoms. It MAY according to the manufacturers who we all know tell nothing but truth.
It is dangerous as heck, countless thousands have already suffered severe reactions to this injection including deaths which are in the tens of thousands if not hundreds. Nobody is really counting accurately now why would that be?

My fear response is totally numb thanks to the post 9/11 world. I have no fear of death or getting sick. I regret others will undoubtedly experience pain and discomfort, but I am finished giving a hoot about things that are totally beyond my control.

I don't worry about being killed in an automobile accident. I don't worry about being mowed down by gang bangers. I don't worry about spontenously developing cancer or heart disease. I'm certainly not going to worry about potential causes of death further down the list.

The faux outrage machine and their government fearmonger overlords should've thought about that sooner. You can only use the fear response so many times before folks are de-sensitized. And oh boy are we de-sensitized. Someone could (removed) brains out in front of me and I would barely bat an eyelash.

I've been lurking on ats too long. It used to be doom porn 5 times a day around here. I believe it has desensitized me to the point that scare tactics, and fear mongering has no effect on me. I haven't had a vaccination, or an inoculation since it was required of me in high school 20 years ago. Never took the flu shots, and I've never had the flu either. It's not that I'm an antivaxxer, it's that I don't trust the FDA or the medical industry.
