If Dr. Anthony Fauci cared about science he wouldn't use it to manipulate people. There is no debate that Fauci attempted to manipulate peoples behavior with regard to hording masks early in the pandemic and he used science to do it. And thats just one easy example. When he choose to do that, even if it was for a good reason, he tarnished not only his reputation but unfortunately science itself. His actions have lead to more distrust of science and that is going to hurt us all when a more deadly pandemic comes along (and it will). Dr. Anthony Fauci should just leave; he can fool himself that he is just taking one for the team if it makes it easier for him; but its still time for him to go.

CDC data show that increases in the number of COVID-19 deaths coincide with roughly proportional decreases in the number of non-pneumonia & non-influenza deaths.As to why this is so, there are likely multiple reasons, but part of the explanation may have to do with the way COVID-19 deaths are counted, as described by the Illinois Director of Public Health, Ngozi O. Ezike, in this (frankly shocking) video: If someone dies and at the time of death was also known to have tested positive for COVID-19 they are automatically counted as a COVID-19 death. In other words, deaths are listed as COVID-19 deaths even when the cause of death was clearly something else.

what Fauchi is pushing is cherry picked science, not real science. Science is more than just medicine it includes all aspects of the world, including economic science. He is pushing inconclusive research and pushing improper evaluation of evidence as science quite a bit. I do not think he is a very good person to have as the head of NIH. The head of WHO is just as bad.

Sure, some of the stuff he has said is true, but overall he has been wrong as much as he has been right. When this virus was first discovered, it was appropriate to be cautious, but within five months so much was known about natural immunity to this virus and natural flavonoids and other herb and food chemistry that combated it that they could have informed the public and people could have adjusted their diet somewhat to keep this virus from going covid. The newest medicine they are working on that destroys the enzyme that the virus uses to gain entry into the cells has a natural equivalent in certain citrus and pineapple core and stems. Federal funding from their agencies was used to do the research but they did not inform the public, the Pharma companies used that information to try to make meds. Seems the meds did not work as well as the natural compounds but you cannot patent natural compounds.

Fauchi is in bed with big Pharma. So are the heads of the FDA from what I am seeing.

When I need medical advice I go to doctors. It's about once a decade or so, but I'm not going to ask my plumber for advice if I'm sick.

If you're gonna go to a doctor who lies to you? You'd be better off going to the plumber.

I actually don't even have a plumber. I do that myself because it's easy. I don't try to dabble in immunology though. We should probably leave that to people with decades of experience in the subject.

If I need medical advice I will go to my doctor or do the research from reputable sites to find an answer. I would never go to a person like Fauchi. A doctor sees you and examines you personally when you go to them, not sit in a chair and spread improper interpretations of evidenceso it fits their beliefs. Fauchi parrots a lot of improperly evaluated conjecture.

People here died of gunshot wounds and it went down as COVID deaths . That went on in every town across the country . People dying from terminal diseases everywhere went down as COVID .
