Why do people keep saying Russia is communist?
Vladimir Vladimirovich is centrist, thus he doesn't attack left-wing or right-wing, but instead he tends to rally both sides for the good of Russian Federation, while keeping it democratic and trying to keep left & right wings from fighting each other -- hence why such incredibly large support towards him, that's basically unachievable in Europe or North America.
As a long-term strategist, he does challenge (intellectually) retarded concepts, such as far-left (libtards and such) and far-right (neo-nazis).
Somehow miraculously he nearly always succeeds at all of this. How exactly he manages to do all of that at the same time I'll never know.
However, on point as to why such perception about communism exists in the West:
1.) Communist Party is not banned (unlike in some (((democratic))) countries, kek) and always participates in elections, usually scoring as either 3rd or 4th.
2.) Quite a lot of politicians in the West are outright jealous of Vladimir Vladimirovich and his nearly universal approval among citizens (80%-90% of approval is basically unheard of in the West nowadays!) and even approval from foreigners abroad!
At some point some British newspapers made a discovery that more common Britons would prefer Vladimir Vladimirovich as prime minister of United Kingdom than donkeys such as Cameron: www.express.co.uk/.../Vladimir-Putin-David-Cameron-poll-who-want-British-PM
He's conservative centrist, openly Christian, democratic, straight, charismatic, pro-life (can anyone name a politician that can hold a LIVE conference with his citizens for a few hours in a row answering all sorts of questions coming from simple folks, instead of journalists?), anti-libtard, anti-(((globalist))), witty, smart and patriotic -- pretty much everything that typical Western leader is not allowed to be nowadays. Jealousy and fear in his enemies evolves in attempts to smear him in the eyes of common Westerner by simply demonizing him -- which includes calling him communist (which he clearly is NOT) and whatnot.
3.) A lot of Westerners, especially (not intended as an offense, but rather as observation) Americans are self-centered, ie they seldom bother to learn anything about other countries, especially if those countries aren't English. Hence they tend to be stuck with the same perception for decades; And this mentality is artificially developed by (((media))) bias, where they'll buy whatever bull# some (((CNN)) is telling them as a crystal clear truth.

I was looking for videos, I know there some out there of young Putin denouncing communism and praising the tsar.
Then I started wondering why people still call Russia communist. So I spent time googling and came across this page.
I felt the need to share it with everyone, because people need a reminder that Russia is not communism. They are democratic/capitalist that does not ban communist parties from running for office.
Anyway if you, like me wanted someone to spell it out for you. Go ahead and read "Eugene's" answers. Then do some research yourself on the matter.
