ONE has been done at invetro and it was with monkey cells. there were a few small studies done with placebos and they found NO conclusive evidence that either worked. Again could it have worked, sure but they had the base for the vaccine which would be a much better alternative. So companies focused on the vaccine instead of throwing darts wildly and hoping for a hit
