Is there really a "Shadow Government"?

To answer the OP thread title.. no I don't think there's a "Shadow Government" to speak of at all.

I think the most realistic representation and portrayal of the U.S. Government came in the hit series (now tarnished by the lead)...

Sure, but there is no shadow government pulling the strings. It's a pond of fish all vying for the top spot acting in their own self interest.. and collectively when it suits them and their independent agendas.

House of Cards I think shows perfectly how you can have all the things people talk about on this forum, but no actual "shadow government"

I don't think there is some SPECTRE like organization ruling over everyone globally.

However, there are people who yield a lot of power politically who most certainly attempt to manipulate people, systems, government, etc for their own benefit. There are varying lobbying groups / think tanks who are attempting to shape policy around their own particular needs.

To be frank, all of this is natural and expected. Men are fallible. Also, the vast majority of the populace actually likes being lorded over and ruled (or too unaware to recognize it until they are being marched off to camps or living in a dystopian like society).

This is why limiting government power is so critical. Once government has power, the politicians and bureaucrats are loathe to give it up and will use government for their own means.

Yeah those G7, G20, and Bilderberg meetings just don't happen. The decisions made at those meetings are totally not enacted globally over the years following, each and every time. Nah there's no organization at all...

You can definitively as a fact say there are un-elected positions within the US govt that have as much or more power as the elected positions. The US population cannot monitor, fire, approve, and even have visibility into what they do. They can hold their positions for decades.

You're quite right. people confuse corporations, lobbyists etc. as the shadow government when they are just minor operators. The real shadow government are the unelected bureaucrats, the civil servants, the people behind those who you vote for. No matter which party gets into power they never change, they are in for life. And the power they can wield is beyond comprehension. A word here, a word there is nothing to be sniffed at.

I remember those days. You're talking around 2012, when eyes were really being opened...to one thing or another.

And I may be wrong but I think AJ was having marital problems back then. Satan has no power, but the people working for him do, such as the puppet masters, hidden hands, those behind the curtain, the thirteen families...it's a puzzle but if you take your time and open your mind you get to eventually see the picture, even if a few pieces are still missing. All has not been revealed, yet. But we're getting there.

If you want to beat the propaganda, recognize it for what it is, tune it out, and keep repeating the truths you know to be true, never falter, never quiver, never give up. If you wake ONE person, you've done a tremendous thing.

This I had not heard of until now. I lived in SD and was told there were sick things going on on the Reservations. I know Rosebud is America's anus and is sometimes a sanctuary for the sick and twisted that are on the run from John Q. Law, and I had heard there was incest and twelve year old pregnant girls walking around. If the black people complaining about how bad they have it could spend a day on some of these ghettovations, they'd appreciate their own circumstances a tad more, and maybe even make a move and better themselves. Exactly. They decide how the policy of elected officials is implemented. The building I used to work in rented out a section to a Federal Government call center. They had a shrine to Obama. When Trump was elected, they refused to hang his portrait. To me this is why most "government conspiracies'" are BS. These clowns would leak them just for political points.

I would think it would be easy. And easier as "government" grows. Compartmentalization. Not only does the left hand not know what the right hand is doing, but the palms, fingers, knuckles, and nails have no idea what the others are doing.

When there's segregation at that level, a finger can get missing and replaced and not be known.

It cracks me up when people think POTUS knows anything about Area 51 & 52. It's my belief no human has reached full ignorance until they've been inaugurated on January 20th.

There can be overlapping interests, more related to relative personal power than simply money, which loses currency after the first $Billion.

Sadly, personal power - from who gets the girl to who gets to be boss - drives most agendas.

Every now and then an outsider pops up with a personal power agenda majoring in sincere, albeit controversial, beliefs.

These people first get made to appear mad, and the get destroyed.
