Why Is Facebook Advertising Need for Internet Regulation?

Here in SATX I'm seeing a bunch of advertisements pushing for revamping internet regulation. Fussing that they haven't been updated for 25 years. This alone I found peculiar.

Then, at the end of ad, it's sponsored by Facebook. Whaaaaaat?

There doesn't seem to be any legislation referenced in the ad, but I'm pretty sure whatever it is, if Facebook is for it, I'm very likely to be against it. I can't imagine Facebook advocating for anything related to freedom of speech, expression, or information.

Anyone know what Zuckerbooger wants changed about internet regulation?

Facebook wants three things.

One to limit its own liability.

Two, to ensure that the things that it wants censored are exempt from the legislation.

Three, that its rivals are as harmed by regulation as it is.

In so many words, Facebook wants to be allowed to censor conservation speech while protecting Liberal speech, and for everyone else to be forced to do the same.

Big companies like Facebookike to be involved in writing legislation because it means that they get to shape it to their needs.

Could it be that FB has been banned from an African nation and FB has spit the dummy out claiming they are an impartial and honest site.

My guess is that Zuckerbooger is like all the rest, thinking that aligning himself with these totalitarian monsters will somehow get him in good if and when they finally come to power. The useful idiot doesn't know history. If they do finally get control, people like him will either continue to be their puppets or die.

Because the goal is communism. You know control of everything.
Including what you think and the information you're allowed to see.
As if that hasn't always been the case any way. To some extent.
The general population that is allowed to remain will not have
any freedoms. They will be under the paranoid eye of the elite
at every turn. If I'm around for that I won't last a single day.
And they're sort of fine with that.
