So you got some things right the burden was religious in nature and not a one of them could do it. Peter said they nor their fathers were able to bear
it as well. Act 15:10. But Jesus is telling them his burden, his yoke is easy. It is FAITH. All the acts the apostles are doing are all acts of
faith that is why the instruction not to take money, shoes, staffs and clothing and to eat whatever is set in front of them. Even asking their peace
to be on that it was an act of faith.
Even the life of John was an act of faith on Johns part, his doubt was because he was in prison. If it wasn't Jesus then he know he would go free.
If it was he knew his ministry was over and by faith excepted his fate.
But there is more to this. I will give you a little preaching outline on the last 6 verse but you need to put meat to it.
Look at Mt 11:25 and tell us what was Jesus Answering when it says, "he "answered" and said,"? What was the Question he answered? Establish this an
everything that follows will fall in place.
Vv 25 & 26 - The Communication.
Vs 27 - The Claim.
Vs 28 - The Call.
Vs29 - The Command.
Vs 30 - The Comfort.
You should be able to make a great preaching lesson out of that I know I did.
