For the first time in living memory, politicians and corporations have stopped pretending to care about the general population.

Everything is being done to create the perfect storm in which we, the common people, will reap the whirlwind.

The elite are signalling to each other that it doesn't matter anymore how they conduct themselves because they are extremely close to reaching their end goal and are now brazen enough to flaunt it in our faces. They are toying with us one final time before they cut us loose.

Some leftists are still under the impression that the winds have shifted in their favor when it's obvious that the elite have merely targeted the weakest minds to effect chaos.

We are all being set up.

When authority celebrates with such blatant disregard and flaunts it in our faces, we are in for a world of hurt.

Is robotics and artificial intelligence almost advanced enough to replace the workforce?

An employee that doesn't strike, has no rights and never tires is the logical evolution of this hyper capitalism.

If the world population is viewed as a resource and each "unique" individual is listed as a labor unit, what happens when technology makes us obsolete?

The Georgia Guidestones convey the message that the optimal human population is 500 million.

What if that is the optimal number of elitists after the commoners have been disposed of and replaced by robots?

You and me, we're not included in that number.

We are going to be disposed of and they got us talking about gay cereal.

We are the biggest insider joke to them and this is their victory lap before they throw our ashes into the winds of time.

Our very existence is starting to offend them.

Will machines replace humans?

Simple question:

If machines replace humans, how will humans earn the money they will need to buy the things the machines now produce?

If it is the "elites'" idea to replace the labor force with machines, to optimize their profits, their plan is ridiculous on its face because they will be reducing their customers' ability to afford those products, thus reducing profitability.

Remember, you don't get to be one of the "elite" by being stupid.

Know why they're confident?

Because we are divided on so many fronts.

United we stand, divided we fall.

Obama was the great divider. And I voted for him because of the Bush administration. I, like most Americans, was war weary. And the cost of living was almost unbearable.

Again, I voted for Obama, and after the first year I had buyer's remorse. Don't worry Democrats, it does not hurt to admit it....

I've seen a bar that had a robotic arm that made drinks.

I've seen a grocery store full of vending machines.

I've seen cashiers get replaced by touchscreens at Sheetz, McD's, Walmart, and ATM's. 30+ years ago there were gas station pumps that took one's....

But I still agree with you. Machines will not take all jobs. Some things a robut cannot do. Some science fiction will always remain fiction.

Good question.

The monetary system is parasitic in nature. It is ultimately a stepping stone.

It won't be needed once the elite have achieved their final objective which is to create heaven on earth for themselves.

Perhaps they will keep some of us alive for their entertainment and if there is absolutely no way a machine can do what we already do, which I doubt.

This goes back way before contemporary partisan politics. The story has been unfolding for quite some time.

Yup. Just like there was no need for more than 3 computers in the 50s and 256 bytes of ram was all you would ever need.

Flying machines? That's crazy!

If you vote, you WILL have Voter Regret, period. Voting is another illusion people still can't break out of, it's got a strong hold on humans, just like the left vs right illusion.
Every puppet/president in the history of humanity has been part of The Club and have pushed The Club's agendas. Trump and Biden are the most recent puppets who have accomplished the agendas spectacularly.
It's sad we couldn't ALL break out of the bulls# illusions at the same time. We would be in a completely different situation right now.
Like I always say, just try to enjoy this reality in whatever way you see fit, we're not going to be here for long.

I used to think the hidden hands picked the two candidates, and let American voters decide which lesser of two evils would be President.

But after Trump switched party and won the nomination and the presidency I started thinking maybe not.

And after last year's election, I'm pretty sure elections before 2020 were valid, with a few cases of fraud here and there, but I'm convinced, and I could be wrong, Trump won and the election had massive fraud in key states, but I don't think it was limited to just one side, I believe both sides cheated but the Democrats cheated on a larger scale. Their constant attempts to halt the audits cements my thoughts on this.

I want to say it's on ATS but I read somewhere that Cleveland(?) was the first "selected" POTUS, or maybe the last truly elected...I can't recall correctly, but I'm certain it was on ATS in a thread...damn, I don't know, I'll see if I can find on the web, actually I think it was utoob and I don't use utoob anymore, I try not to anyway. I'll search on GooGoo and then DuckDuckGo, see what I can achieve....pffft, I miss catalog cards.

What's really trippy is the phone in my hand having more computing power than the Apollo 11's guidance computers.

But it would stupid for me to have twelve phones, or upgrade every three months. Tech is mostly a scam.

"But it's 800,000k HD 3D resolution, best TV made since last week"... Yeah not stupid, at all. I have 25 year old TV, I'm as impressed as I want to be.

Every industrialist will tell you never to release a perfect product. Each generation has to be only slightly better so that you will want to buy it again in a couple of years.

In fact, my own father with his cancer research met with a US billionaire in the early 2000s who appeared to be asleep through most of the presentation only to tell him this very thing.

They had access to a supercomputer at a university in Saudi Arabia and everything was at a very advanced stage at that time.

It fizzled out eventually.

Yes, and I noticed it as a stockboy, "New & Improved", "More Cleaning Power", "Longer Lasting Scent", "Now With Oxyclean" , I was told it's actually the advertising agencies that work with companies to bring a new "appeal" to their products. I think the Gain Scent is the latest trophy winner in collaboration.

The funny thing is I don't feel empowered knowing these things.

I feel helpless.

The day too many people start getting restless about the big con is the day they shut down the internet.

We are well and truly #ed.

Simple question indeed and it has a simple answer. The elite don't
need profit that's why they're the elite. I've been saying what OPs
saying since feb. 2020. And before that for years. They have the
technology the infrastructure, the capability and most of all they
have the will.

They are wicked intelligent, even so that they led us to believe
leaders like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pot weren't the norm. When the
truth is they were the norm and in reality they're all capable of
murdering millions of human beings. So who ever thinks socialism
is going to just take over the world and that's it?

That's just naive. They always celebrate with a ritual mass
murder. This time it's gonna be here. I might as well been sitting
at the table with them when they said, "Guns! we don't need their
guns when we can spread disease, inject and starve them to death.
They won't even fire a shot.

When the number get low enough we let the rest live out there days
sterile and as long as they clean up the mess.

Why wouldn't that be the game plan?

I've been trying to think of a reason they would keep some of us alive other than for entertainment or niche tasks.

And I actually found one.

It's the same reason for the theological question about why a god would create evil to which the answer is how will you measure good if you can't compare it to evil?

They would keep some of us alive living in terrible conditions so their future generations would know how good they actually have it.

Plans the same as its always been, maintain the status quo by any and all means necessary.

There is a reason we all get a number when we are registered at birth.

Humans are a commodity, to be bought, sold, and traded, just like any other.

I think the plan is to have robots/a.i. produce for the elites. At the end of the day fols like you and I really are not essential to them. If a robot can cook meals, pilot there ships/planes, then we are no longer neccessary. What happens when a psycho or narcissist no longer has a want or desire for you? I'm sure you've had a crazy ex or two.

We are dirty, disease ridden servants that have become a hindrance to people used to the finer things in life.

If we are of no more use they will dispose of us.

They can't enjoy this planet they own because there's too many of us there's no more lebensraum.
