More fan fiction from the left. "What happens if an ex-president goes to jail" Guys let it go your obsession with the guy is too much. Some of my favorite excerpts are:

Perhaps that's not surprising: Trump will already be remembered by history as the first president to be impeached twice ( Who cares, the democrats could have impeached him every week that does not matter, he was also acquitted twice) the first president to refuse to accept losing an election ( Again, doesn't matter, it is not like he locked himself in the white house, he left , power was transferred, he does not have to accept it he just has to leave, and he did), the first president to lack any prior political or military experience ( being military or a politician is not a requirement, and that is why he got elected and got things done is because he was not a useless politician)and one of five presidents to be elected without winning the popular vote (You don't need to win the popular vote, it is called the electoral college). He has racked up questionable distinctions like Tom Brady wins Super Bowl rings.

And that is all just the first paragraph

2) "Now Trump may face jail time for alleged financial crimes in New York — or his efforts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia, or his speech to the Jan. 6 rioters. Given his pattern of ethically iffy business dealings and ripping off the taxpayers, as well as his shady actions in Russia and Ukraine, something completely unforeseen could also arise during current investigations that lands him in jail." (You mean the "shady actions in russia and ukaraine" that did not happen and all the shady dealings with russia and ukraine that the Bidens have committed in which there is proof but the media ignores?)/b]

3) "because the recent wave of voter suppression laws enacted by Republicans create a situation where he can't lose. Much as Hitler proclaimed his ascension to power as a vindication of the nine months he served in prison after the Beer Hall Putsch" ( wow in one sentence they falsely claim voter suppression by republicans when republican states have more accessible voting laws then democrat states and they get the old hitler comparison in)

4) No matter what happens, such a trial would serve as a flashpoint for a far-right, anti-democratic movement the likes of which has never before existed in this country. ( and to finish it off with the cherry on top, blame it on the "far-right " trump supporters. Funny how the left only cares about democracy when it is convenient for them but all other times it is socialism)

I would like to say well done, but this was such a lazy ,weak, sloppy hatchet piece.

It never ends with these people.

I couldn't STAND Bush #2, but the minute he vacated the office of POTUS, I couldn't be bothered to GAF about where he went, what he did, etc.

Trump's tenure has exposed a large segment of the public has psychological issues with unhealthy hatred and a peculiar fascination with wishing bad things on another person that, at this point, has ZERO affect on most American's lives.

I mean check out today's thread list! We have another blue ribbon "...but what about Trump!" thread from a member that seemingly fixates on the former president.

Seriously, if you find yourself fantasizing about harm to a person, *especially* someone with whom you've never even had personal interactions with, I would suggest visiting with a mental health professional. This type of behavior is NOT normal.

I could say the same about the Right and Obama or Hillary also. So?

These double standards had me wondering when the wrong person is going to snap and fight back against this obvious war on conservatives. I was curious about far right extremist and what it takes for them to finally snap. So I looked up the famous right wing terrorist named Ted Kaczynsky. Turns out, he was a total lefty, all about the environment. Looks like this left wing projection propaganda has been going on far longer than I realized. Now I’m wondering if there ever was a conservative with balls. Was George Washington a democrat as well?

Who, on the right, was going after Obama and trying to imprison him? Especially after he left office. The only reason he ever shows up in the news is at his choosing. You don't get an entire media and political establishment pursuing them after they leave office.

They have to keep the hit pieces coming along with the "what if' because they fear Trump. Every day that goes by, we see the ineptitude of the current administration and the spiral this country has fallen in to. At the current rate, Conservatives will take back control of the House and Senate and if Trump runs in 2024, he'll win. They can't stand the idea of losing power and will do everything they can to stop it.

Trump's case is with the courts isn't it? I didn't realise the courts were "the left". If he's innocent he'll be proven so, if not he'll go to jail like anyone else would. What this process has to do with "the left" I'm not sure?

Are you upset because the media is reporting on the facts? If so, just do what all the other Trump lovers do and sign up with Infowars, Breitbart or some other right wing BS peddler. Never a bad word said about Trump on those so you'll be fine.

Seriously though, i see dozens of threads created on here everyday about Trump and they're all started by Trump lovers and there's always a moan in there that everyone is still talking about Trump even though he's out of office now!

A tip: Maybe it's you guys who need to stop talking about him?

Nice try buddy, courts don't just start cases on their own the cases are brought by other people so it is not the court that is left it is the people bringing the case, and actually alot of judges are left wing activist judges. And not everything the media reports are facts. And nice try at deflecting with your "tip"

That maybe so. But if the case against him was weak, as you seem to be suggesting, there wouldn't be much point taking it to court would there. Like i said before, if he's innocent, as you seem to think he is, he'll have nothing to worry about.

All this witch hunt BS is coming from right wing media and they're basically trying to sow mistrust in the US justice system. The only aim here is to instigate an uprising by Trump loyalists in the event that he's found guilty. They'll practically be happy to cause a civil war just to get their boy out of trouble.

Not an Alex Jones fan, but if you honestly think that only cases with merit or legitimacy make it into a court room you are fooling yourself, plenty of bogus , frivolous cases make it to a court, a lot of innocent people get found guilty by our "justice" system. And the witch hunt stuff was not BS, no evidence has ever been presented to show Trump was on the take from Russia. Just the opposite actually, Biden took money from a lobbyist that worked for the pipeline that Russia was pushing for that Biden is ok with, not to mention the hunter emails detailing how daddy Joe met and had dinner with the very same people Joe claims to not know, plus old Joey bragging on film about threatening to withhold funds appropriated by congress unless ukraine fired the prosecutor looking into the company his boy worked for. The list is endless. But go ahead and live in the Trump bad echo chamber you exist in. Of all the real estate Trump owns I think the most valuable is the real estate he occupies in liberal brains

Yes, some folks have fixated on Obama, that is a fair point. I don't think the degree of fixation is anywhere near where it's at with Trump, though, possibly just because of recency bias.

Hillary broke serious laws regarding handling of classified material, and should've faced some form of punishment. The fact that she faced no repercussions has burned her indelibly into people's minds, symbolic of the of two-tier justice system. All the other nonsense about Hillary and pizza places and adrenochrome is ridiculous, and I don't dignify those comments, which are about the same level of ridiculousness as hookers peeing on Trump. Only difference is, the goofball myths about Hillary were always dismissed by the media as "loony conspiracy theories", whereas the Trump Russia myths were never dismissed by the MSM and sometimes intimated as having some element of truth.

If you could spare the time to process some data, you may look into why this thread was created. (hint, it wasn't because the OP was thinking of Trump, it was the article presented)

How can you not see the massive left political bias. The whole point and the trouble it's causing IS the left leaning judiciary. Ok. they don't openly show this leaning with successful prosecutions, but it sticks out with their LACK of prosecutions. Their LACK of even allowing cases to be tried.
1. Election fraud. There were enough signed affidavits (that's affidavits as evidence could get you the death penalty in court) to suggest crimes but the judiciary (and the FBI) still refuses to look at them.
2. The first tried impeachment, It was maliciously manufactured and perpetrated yet no one and I mean no one has ever been prosecuted for this travesty.
3. The second tried impeachment, the same as above. Malicious and nasty, yet no action taken.
4. This, well I don't know what to call it except a witch hunt of an investigation of his business dealings. The thing is with that is that no one is lily white and they will probably find some discrepancy and it will be blown out of all proportion to get the result they require.
Just remember the Salam witch trials, a lot of women were killed on some ones silly story.
