Personally, I don't care what she thinks. I do care about her actions and the example is shows to those around her.

To many veterans, of which there are millions, Memorial Day is a sacred day of remembrance.

For someone who is one heart beat away from being Commander In Chief of the armed forces to reduce this day of remembrance as a "long weekend" without even mentioning WHY it is a long weekend, is both disrespectful to the families of those fallen, and the living veterans who served with those who gave their lives.

I just don't get it.

Everyone knows Democrat politicians hate and don't support the military.

I'd rather they be themselves and truthful.

In her sort of defense, she strikes me as one of those sorts of people who laughs when she's nervous or uncomfortable for whatever reason.

That makes her a very poor politician. Their entire lives are centered around never being able to be honest about anything and having to be stuck with awkward situations where they have to lie. If Comma-LA is laughing, it's because she's lying.

IF Harris was being honest with her beliefs she'd just say our military is a white oppressive force destroying the world and needs dismantled and re-educated.

Are we not expected to condemn politicians for their speech on Twitter? Are we not given the mandate to take offense at what our politicians tweet on social media? Harris may be many things and lacking in some departments. We just need to be grateful for the brave men and women who sacrifice their lives and continue to do so to protect our great country. We also need to be mindful and acknowledge the black slaves who actually founded Memorial Day (Decoration Day) way back in 1865, commemorating the fallen black soldiers on the Union. If Harris was made aware of the full history and genesis of memorial Day, I'm sure she will be more mindful in her approach going forward.
