VP Kamala Harris holds unusual bilateral meeting with a foreign leader at the White House

Vice President Harris met with South Korean President Moon Jae-in at the White House on Friday, without the participation of President Biden, and then the two appeared together to make a statement.

A bilateral meeting at the White House between a U.S. vice president and a visiting head of state – followed by a joint appearance featuring the two – is highly unusual.

Harris also took a call with Jordanian King Abdullah II on Thursday, to address the Israeli-Palestinian cease-fire in Gaza.

Since taking office in January, Harris has also spoken with French President Emanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Where's Joe ? What does he have going on that the Vice President is meeting with world leaders instead of the President? The question has been asked about who is actually running this country and it's becoming quite clear that it's not him. They've even admitted they do not want him to take unscripted questions from reporters. It obvious they don't trust him to speak on his own, because he can't help but to start rambling and they sure as hell can't trust him to make sound decisions.

The answer to 'Where's Joe ' ? Probably hidden away in a back room, drooling over his Cream of Wheat till the meds kick in.

We all know Joe isn't running things.

Honestly I'm pretty sure when Bill was running the show, it was actually Hillary doing all the talking behind closed doors. Now they're just skipping the middle man.

The "talk" probably happened weeks ago.
They're not going to have Joe doing hardly anything as a matter of national security, to be quite frank.

We're already looking weak asf on the world stage, so why allow Biden to to put a cherry on top?

Well, there's an insult.

Quite simply: infuriating.

She was NOT elected and "hired" by the US public for the job description she is filling right now.

The entire Biden/Harris ticket was 100% a sham, a strategic "end-around" of the election system to place a certain person in a position of power, deliberately, alongside a weak, befuddled old man, so a woman appointed by her political party could gain access to power, despite not having the slightest chance of winning a popular election herself.

The system for "choosing" VP candidates by a private political organization (DNC or GOP) will need to be amended and this gap/loophole in the system closed to prevent future exploitation.

It needs to be some form of representative compromise or a coalition system or a means of ensuring the same thing never happens again.

Moon Jai-in and his advisors probably discussed for weeks what to discuss with Biden, and he gets stuck with Harris.

Regardless of who is really in charge, the perception is they were to meet the decision-maker and got stuck with the gatekeeper.

At least King Abdullah and the others got the side step over the telephone.
