Paranoid Democrats Request Billions of Dollars to Keep Them Safe from Personal Harm.

When Republican lawmaker Steve Scalise was shot by a crazed Democrat while playing baseball, Republicans didn't panic and demand millions of additional dollars for security.

When Republican Senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul were attacked in the streets by crazed Democrats, these men didn't run back to the Senate chamber screaming for National Guard protection, Personal Bodyguards, more Barbwire fencing, higher walls, higher-tech alarm systems at their homes, etc..

But those are exactly the things Paranoid (Guilt-ridden) Democrat leaders in Congress are demanding...

Democrats included an unprecedented $22 million in the bill that passed Thursday to address threats against lawmakers in both parties. Those threats rose for years amid incendiary rhetoric from politicians, including former President Donald Trump, and they escalated dramatically since a Trump-backed mob stormed the Capitol. But Senate GOP opposition to the security legislation could mean months of delays for those funds.

House Democrats this week tried to do something about the rise in personal safety risks for lawmakers after the Jan. 6 insurrection, approving a roughly $2 billion package to bolster the Capitol Police, fund the National Guard and secure the sprawling complex. Congress’ most forceful response yet to the Capitol siege also includes what many members have sought for years: more help paying for their protection.

So, Democrats have already spent $22 million this year on making them feel safer. Now they want $2 BILLION more dollars!

Is their 24/7 safety worth that much? I wonder what the majority of taxpayers think? Congress's job approval was down under 15%, last I checked.

There's no way several hundred unarmed people trashing offices at the Capitol building, should make Democrats tremble in fear every day of their life.

Not unless they have done something terribly wrong on a huge scale, and know it's just a matter of time before Americans learn of it.

Well, thank goodness that no Democrat politicians have ever thrown fuel on this fire. I mean, imagine if somebody like Auntie Maxine or Ilhan the Jihadist or Nancy the Ghoul had encouraged people to go out and do violent things.

The fact that Jan 6 happened should be a national embarrassment no matter where your politics reside. I imagine that if it was BLM that did this you would be singing a different tune. But even putting that aside if it was ISIS, Hamas or any foreign country/terrorist organization that did this we would be bombing the crap out of some one right now.

U.S. BLM members have as much right to enter the U.S. Capitol as any other taxpaying American. Capitol Security would open the doors for them too.

If it were ISIS or HAMAS, you're right...there would be hell to pay. One of those groups bombed the U.S. Capitol building about 60 years ago.

In all seriousness, if Democrats want to do something that most Americans would appreciate, they should set up a commission to find out if China intentionally created and disbursed the Covid-19 killer virus.

Maybe their role the Covid-19 crime against humankind, is part of why Democrats are so afraid, and why they will not even suggest a Covid-19 origins investigative committee.

The dems and rhinos that voted for this know they are there illegally and that, by the day, thousands of people are either waking up to their BS or have already been awakened and are sick of their crap and are actively attempting to remove these people from office through petitions, recalls, writs of quo warranto (sp?) And putting immense pressure on these people that are supposed to represent us. The fact is they are representing corporate interests and their own greed and hate filled agendas that only benefit them and their crime families.
