In this case, I think they explained that the keyword is convalescent. It means they don't want donations of "convalescent plasma" from the vaccinated, not that they don't want blood at all from the vaccinated.

Correct me if I am mistaken.

Reuters offer a better decription of what is happening. You can use plasma from people who have had covid (but not vaccinated) to give to other people to give them immunity (say for example if they are allergic to the preservative in vaccines). If a previous covid sufferer gets jabbed it renders their plasma unusable for the purpose mentioned above.

We ( my family) gave blood today. We are vaccinated. No problem.

Except it doesn't. People who have been 'jabbed' and had covid previously can still donate plasma.

It was more than that. He lied saying the covid vaccine destroys antibodies, it doesnt. In fact CDC guidelines say you can get the vaccine after being infected and still donate plasma, the Red Cross is just slow to update.
