Desperate situations call for desperate measures.

It’s NOT being used on anyone with moderate to serious symptoms, therefore NOT stopping COVID in India at all.

It’s pretty simple.

It doesn't help once your symptoms are severe. From what I can tell, its main effect is tubulin suppression, which slows the growth of your lung cells (overall).

Since your lung cells are the factory that is producing Covid, that in turn drops your viral load. (Which gives your immune system fewer virus examples to deal with.)

But once you're already having trouble breathing, your lungs probably need all the regeneration they can get.

But the vaccine doesn't prevent aSARS-COV-2 infection - it allows for asymptomatic infection that does not stop the virus from replicating and escaping the host. So who is it protecting.

No, it doesn't stop the virus from infecting a host.

Nor does the vaccine treat the symptoms. It specifically primes the immune system to attack the spike protein and anything attached. Many of the symptoms are actually from our immune response to the virus and the vaccine promotes that.

It does stop the virus replicating when the immune system destroys the virus. It just isn't instant and magical. It takes time for the body to mount a defense and do the job.

I see! So ivermectin quite directly competes with the vax.

Neither of them will stop you getting infected in the first place. Both are focused on the stage in the process where your immune system starts to kick in.
