India's testing is only a fraction of what it once was. They cannot sustain a high testing rate.

It doesn’t.
Which is why it’s on the list of “May do” for mild symptoms.
Desperate situations call for desperate measures.
It’s NOT being used on anyone with moderate to serious symptoms, therefore NOT stopping COVID in India at all.
It’s pretty simple.

Fore every testimonial case provided by the hucksters, there are millions of those who the vaccines are already protecting, and many who have survived dire medical prognosis through effective medication and clinical best practice.
But the vaccine doesn't prevent aSARS-COV-2 infection - it allows for asymptomatic infection that does not stop the virus from replicating and escaping the host. So who is it protecting.
No, it doesn't stop the virus from infecting a host.
Nor does the vaccine treat the symptoms. It specifically primes the immune system to attack the spike protein and anything attached. Many of the symptoms are actually from our immune response to the virus and the vaccine promotes that.
It does stop the virus replicating when the immune system destroys the virus. It just isn't instant and magical. It takes time for the body to mount a defense and do the job.
