Sedatives, smartass! They didn't use general anesthesia.

Nice to see you again. Be well

Nah, we won't need a film to do it.

We'll just call it 2022.

Rectum scraper.
Sounds like a pretty terrible career choice.

Okay, so yay science and all that. But I have to wonder about the thought process that led to these tests. Who sits around thinking, "I wonder what would happen if I stuck an O2 hose up some mouse butts and suffocated them?" What kind of test do you have to fail to get that job?

Fecal transplants honestly seem more appealing than an oxygen enema i've had a prostate exam. That was unpleasant enough.

College science majors, we present to you: A new way to get high.

Boofing has been around for a while. In college I saw a guy give himself a jagermeister enema. He stood up, stumbled around for a minute, threw up and passed out.

Good times.

Someone who has had their gut flora flashed, or a list of other weird niche ailments gets a transplant of centrifuged sh** from a healthy donor.

Where do you think the original bacteria for those probiotic pills came from?

Think that's what's wrong with Joey?

Fire up some MaryJane. Give a whole new meaning to blowing smoke ... wherever.

I mean if it's derived from a healthy donor, one could assume it's a compilation of probiotics they've been introduced to possibly all the way back to being breast fed.

Hard to say, and I'm sure it's different from case to case.

It's not wild to say that you could have generational strains though. Look at the sourdough yeast starters that go back to the original mother, or kombucha scobys that don't change much from mother to mothers.

Edit: I'm not talking about pills either in this form of treatment.

Scraping the inside wall of the anus sounds gross. What's the purpose? That wasn't made clear in the article.

There's a lot of information down there.

It's kind of like checking the engine in a car (more accurately the exhaust, but this can still provide data).

Not only that, but we're learning that it's possible some level of cognitive function is done by our gut. There's a vast system of neurons, and if that idea is too farfetched for some, at the very least it's the power house for the rest of our system including brain.

So imagine a car with a way smarter computer. Now imagine that computer can perform better based of of the fuel and performance of the engine. Ever drive your car when the temperature, humidity, fuel, and runtime is just right?

Ever have a day where your whole body feels fantastic and you're completely lucid? Where everything clicks, not a second is wasted through actions, and every extension of your being is completely streamlined?

Edit: they may have also scraped the mucus to help promote oxygen absorbtion.

Yeah...so here's an interesting one. A researcher at the Cincinnati Children's hospital conducted a series of experiments on mice, rats and pigs on rectal oxygen intubation.

Rectal ozone insufflation - yes, in humans - has been used as a safe and effective treatment for all kinds of things, from cancer (rectal and other) to bowel/digestive issues and everything in between.

I first learned about it back in the nineties from a guy who sold medical grade ozone generators based on Mikola Teslas 'cold plasm' technology.

ETA: no scraping required.

You can also do ear insufflation ( for a brain tumor and brain detoxing), ozone infused steam saunas with the right sauna cabinet, and lots of other things.

Just have to work at a children's hospital I guess.
