"Due to HIPPA and the 4th Amendment we are unable to ask you about your medical conditions. Therefore, if you enter without wearing a mask, we must assume it is due to a medical condition. Those who are unable to wear a mask are welcome inside. -Signed, Management"

Damn that's awesome. smart owners.
As everyone should know by now I am a big supporter of business owner rights.
So while I believe covid is bad and choose myself to ware masks when out. I will never get angry at a private business owner making their own rules on their property.

I might choose to never shop there but I wont hold that against the owners.
Nor would I ever support laws that do so.

I don't think doing what you wont on your own property has anything to do with patriotism ether.

But I like seeing people stand up for their rights.

Even when I don't agree with what they choose to do.

It's more like common decency... I've seen way too many people attacked even though they were medically permitted to not wear a mask. I have to agree with JinMI that it does sound a little passive aggressive but I think they have the right intentions.

I didn’t realise using a loophole is considered bravery these days.

I guess the bar is so low now, this is “brave”

Good to know.

You have to think about it. The store owners have the required sign
to customers mandating masks.

The store owners also put a second sign up for both customers and
the safety gestapo. So when the sweaty ass power maggots show up.
They are immediately confronted by constitutional law.

I think it's brave to defy tyranny in a lawful manner.

It’s a loophole.

It’s clever, but not brave.

This my feeling too its time to give each other a break

Pandemic or not if you attack someone over a mask you are the one with the problem (not "you" you!)
should folks wear a mask, in some situations id say sure theh should, but if i see someone with out one I assume they must have a reason or two for it

God bless my friends

It made me happy to see it, business owner taking a risk likely but our community has rewarded them handsomly

We will be OK folks. The adults are coming too and i think the temporary insanity is giving way to outrage fatigue all around

Jusy like my dad always said....make them smoke the whole pack

*fat thumbs

Hey i take a win any where i can these days

If the time comes to don plate carriers then i will be there

But don't under estimate a little civil disobedience

Back in the 80s we had the eco groups near our logging trails. Wed go up to clear them out, but the way they acted forced us to either go hands on and look like WE provoked it or basically prevent outsiders bringing suplies to wait them out

In retrospect was it a big deal? Probably not

But the point is their relatively minor tactics lead to more strategic successes. Hearts and minds, ultimately, are the target of all this. By not enforcing masks, the government is shown to be merely mortal, not omnipotent and capable of bleeding so to speak

Authority is useless when subverted...and sometimes thats what you have to do

PBR?? Boooooo...!!

Nasty.

The signage was rather cool, though... I'll with with smart. Knowledgeable. With a dash of "kiss my ass" tossed in for flavoring.

I was berated by a store clerk for having a mask. The law here mandates the sign, but no one follows it. Whatever, I removed it and that was that. Smiles all around. A simple pleasure you miss with masks.

Then the store clerk is a moron who doesn't support free thinking or freedom to act.

If this had happened - which it didn't - I'd tell the clerk to mind their damn business and give me my change.

"Mandates or local ordinances" say you must wear a mask.
But is it a law? No or it would state so.

I agree

Both of these exceptional individuals would relish any act, statement or otherwise that advances the cause of liberty.

Pandemics aren't different from any other disease. If we let this logic slide, then we'll have to start doing it for the Flu (it kills too) along with every other bug out there.
