Yes. Biden had a mandate from his strongest constituents, Black women, to choose a Black women as his VP.

You think like Redneck, believing qualified Black women are rare and hard to find. I'm sure Biden's constituents didn't think finding a qualified Black women would be hard to do, or that skin color was more important than qualifications. That's yours and Redneck's racist assumptions.

Choosing someone BECAUSE of skin color is racist PERIOD.
Choosing someone because of sex is gender bias.

Both are disgusting.....oh EXCEPT in this case of course.

You are too funny.
You have become what you pretend to rail against, and can't even see it.

Not just the Cabinet. Sookiechacha has admitted that Harris herself is a "token," as in chosen for her skin color/ethnicity and not for her qualifications.

You don't think that Democrats could find a qualified Black woman to be Joe Biden's VP? Wow, now that's racist!

Kamala Harris is plenty qualified to be Biden's VP. She's as qualified to be president as anyone else who was running, on either ticket.

America is not white, and its elected officials and administrations should represent all its people, not just the white ones, and not just the male white ones. Biden's administration doesn't have a token VP, it has multiple qualified cabinet members and appointees that represent America, all of America, not just white America, with one or two people of color that they can shove out front and hide behind while presenting racist legislation.

She's also qualified to be a hooker or on the business side of a glory hole.

YEAH! Racism and misogyny, all in one thread!

No racism, just calling a spade a spade.

www.harpersbazaar.com...
"It’s recently come to light that, 20 years ago, Kamala Harris dated former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown. While Brown was still married at the time"

"And, to his credit, Brown seems to agree. On Monday, the Former mayor issued a very brief statement to SFGate entitled “Sure, I dated Kamala Harris. So What?” In it he mentioned he certainly helped her career"

Choosing someone BECAUSE of skin color is racist PERIOD.

Well then, I guess America is a racist country, seeing that 45 out of 46 of American presidents chosen were white.

Kamala Harris wasn't chosen BECAUSE of her skin color, she was chosen because she was qualified. Tim Scott, on the other hand, appears to have been chosen by the GOP to tell Americans that their country isn't racist, BECAUSE he is Black.

Choosing someone because of sex is gender bias.

America is gender biased, seeing how American have never chosen a female president.

It's not like there are no women or people of color that are qualified for high offices, it's more like America is racist and misogynistic.

We can choose to hire qualified people of color, to offset systemic racism, without sacrificing quality. What's hard is putting up with the snowflakes complaining about being replaced by people they deem to be inferior, and who they claim "took their jobs"!

What qualifies Kamala? Why did only black women support Kamala, where were the black men?

Maybe this?
www.miamiherald.com...
www.latimes.com...
"Under both Republicans and Democrats — including Kamala Harris, who became a prosecutor in 1990 — a tough-on-crime political culture flourished in California, and African Americans were hit hardest: Their incarceration rate remains more than five times their share of California’s population."

"In the 2020 presidential race, the disproportionate imprisonment of African American men has become a major issue, and it’s posing an especially big challenge for Harris, California’s first black U.S. senator. She is counting on strong support from African Americans. But many black voters are wary of her 27 years as a prosecutor enforcing laws that sent African Americans to prison."

You yourself have posted numerous times the vp had to be black. The vp had to be a women.
It does not matter qualified or not, when placing a requirement to select someone based on color IT IS RACIST. When placing a requirement to select a someone based on sex IT IS GENDER BIAS.

Were the situation reversed and demanded a WHITE MALE be chosen you would lose your mind.

You supporting outright racism and gender bias is vile. Attempting to make excuses or deflections of such is feeble and disgusting.

In the past, our presidents and their VPs all HAD to be white.

Requiring integration doesn't imply lesser qualified people are acceptable.

False. She was chosen exactly because of her gender and her minority status, nothing more. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been the first dem to drop out of the primaries because of low poll numbers and her horrible likability factor. Her own party voters didn't want her. I guess that makes dems raycist and misogynistic. But now they have to act like they are SOOOOOO happy to have her because lefties would literally rather die than admit one of their own is less than stellar. Good thing I guess considering she'll be prez soon enough. And oh boy! It will be HISTORIC!

There you go again ... acting like someone's skin color or biological sex rules them out of adequately being able to represent anyone who doesn't match those characteristics.

So let's do some math:

As a woman, Comma-LA can claim to match roughly 50% of the US pop, leaving the other 50% of *all* races out.

Then blacks are about 13% of the US pop, so carve about 13% out that 50% she represented. That leaves out even more of us whom she can't really be said to be representative of ...

Oh but wait, there's more ... Comma-LA is also half East Asian, so that cuts out a sizable chunk of the remainder of those she can be said to be a representative of.

It's no wonder she barely polled at 2% in the prmary ... if that. Because if this is how you progressives pick and choose your leaders, she's not like any of you ... not really. She's too intersectional for her own good.

^^^
THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU SAID ON THE FIRST PAGE OF THIS THREAD.

You said, and I quote:

No question about it. Black women were responsible for Biden winning the primary and they were loudly demanding he pick a "woman of color" to be his running mate. Between them and Clyburn, Biden didn't have a choice. It didn't have to be Kamala, but it had to be a woman of color.

You should get your story straight.

What an embarrassment.

www.nbcnews.com...
Trump got 20% of the black male vote in 2020, about 8-10% more than he did in 2016.

"Eighty percent of Black men supported Joe Biden, down slightly from Hilary Clinton’s 82 percent in 2016 but significantly down from Barack Obama’s level of support among Black men in 2012 and 2008."

"About 26 percent of Black men who had a high school diploma or less supported Trump. But 22 percent of Black men with bachelor’s degrees and 20 percent of Black men with advanced degrees also supported him."

I am a "redneck", there are many women of color I would vote for in a heartbeat if than ran for President. You and all the undercover racist on the left are the problem, not the "rednecks".

That is so very true , but by the time African Americans figure that out it will be far to late.

It's the " Black leaders " leading these current movements , They are the True ""Uncle Toms"" they are jumping over each other selling out there community just as quick as they can for a seat at the White Liberal Elite table .

Every time Don Lemon sheds a tear Live on CNN I vomit , Or he tells the black community " What they should be feeling " .

It's all truly ridiculous when you really think about it .
