Kamala Harris wasn't chosen BECAUSE of her skin color, she was chosen because she was qualified. Tim Scott, on the other hand, appears to have been chosen by the GOP to tell Americans that their country isn't racist, BECAUSE he is Black.

False. She was chosen exactly because of her gender and her minority status, nothing more. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been the first dem to drop out of the primaries because of low poll numbers and her horrible likability factor. Her own party voters didn't want her. So let's do some math:

As a woman, Comma-LA can claim to match roughly 50% of the US pop, leaving the other 50% of *all* races out.

Then blacks are about 13% of the US pop, so carve about 13% out that 50% she represented. That leaves out even more of us whom she can't really be said to be representative of ...

Oh but wait, there's more ... Comma-LA is also half East Asian, so that cuts out a sizable chunk of the remainder of those she can be said to be a representative of.

It's no wonder she barely polled at 2% in the prmary ... if that. Because if this is how you progressives pick and choose your leaders, she's not like any of you ... not really. She's too intersectional for her own good.
