No not the "Libertarian" Party, but the LP Mises Caucus.

I don't like the guy, but it's pretty interesting that he's following the Mises Caucus, and not the main LP party.

The main party is a #show if you ask me, a bunch of pandering woke folks, who's only claim to integrity is that they aren't Democrats or Republicans, but if they ever made headway into national politics would just as quickly operate as politicians do.

But no, he goes and follows the Mises Caucus that consists of the hardline Libertarians who don't budge on issues. It'll be interesting to see if he decides to change his political leanings in the near future.

After being a sellout/traitor to Free Speech? I know a lot of individuals who follow (and/or keep tabs on and study) the institutions and individuals who are their adversaries

That's my skeptical self's take on this...

Jack doing a 100% BS public relations ploy/narrative, to counter the clear evidence that he runs Stalinist defence for Democrats and leftists and has been for years.

I saw people saying similar things yesterday about him keeping tabs on them or whatever, but if that were the case he has people that can do that for him. Unless it was personal, but even then I'm sure he's intelligent enough to maintain a certain level of discretion.

So, far it seems he's interested on the LPMC's ideas on bitcoin, and possibly other things.

I would love to get Jack Dorsey in a boxing ring so I could smash his ugly lying skunk coward face in.

That's how I feel about that SOB.

Jack Dorsey a libertarian? What a laugh.

The LPMC posted this today.

Text for those who can't see photos:

Jack Dorsey responded! Who would be a good candidate to arrange an interview with Jack? I’m sure Dave Smith would be able to facilitate a great conversation, but on the topic of Bitcoin specifically, maybe one of you all have someone in mind!

And to all the simpletons who have nothing positive to say and who are entrenched in this roll over and die mentality, there are numerous other poltical entities that couldn’t care less about promoting ideas and principles that serve as the foundation for why it is that we do what we do and why we dedicate our lives to this cause—they would love nothing more than for you to take part in their mediocrity. But for the vast majority that actually care and that actually want to take these ideas beyond the realm of theory, then you’re already aware that what ends up changing the course of history often times begins with a conversation.

LPMC:

Hey, thanks for the follow, it was totally unexpected. Your bio says you're into Bitcoin, and if you know anything about libertarians you know we're generally big proponents of it. Would you be interested in a conversation or podcast appearance?

Jack:

More than into it! Definitely a conversation at some point! Thank you for your work.

Like I said I'm pretty much the opposite of a huge fan of Jack Dorsey, and I do like the LPMC over the main LP.

I'm intrigued to see how this plays out. If it does.

I'd hate to see the Mises Caucus get played. The main LP already panders and the politicians in that group have already shown that they are willing to change the platform to suit woke-ism.

The MC has up until this point been outspoken against pandering and refusing to play identity politics.

I'm not big on bitcoin, or crypto in general, but it is true that a lot of people who are proponents of Libertarianism do like it.

It'll be interesting to see what comes of this.

I laugh at a lot of people calling themselves libertarian. There has been an influx of people who used to be democrat or republican who now call themselves libertarian and have been goalkeeping for the LP. That's why it's a #show currently in my opinion. And the people running the LP enjoy having gained more followers so they are more than happy to shift the platform to be more appeasing to those who are interested in the Libertarian Party.

I still think the main LP is a joke, and I think most of the people I come across who call themselves libertarian are lying to themselves. They are dissatisfied with the party they came from and the LP party is more than happy to pander and realign the LP platform to suit the most vocal newcomers.

TWTR is down 13% this morning, after piss-poor earnings.

Jack should focus on his company and making it profitable, instead of BS distractions.
By his actions, Jack is NOT libertarian, just a lying narcissist POS trying to fix his fascist "image"....

But go woke, go broke....could not happen to a nicer totalitarian....

As you should.
Starting with Jack

"Libertarians seek to maximize autonomy and political freedom, emphasizing free association, freedom of choice, individualism and voluntary association. Libertarians share a skepticism of authority and state power"

The above ain't Jack

Dude, relax. As far as I know, no one is calling Jack Dorsey a libertarian. I doubt he even considers himself a libertarian. I can't find any commentary where he comes straight out and says what he's a proponent of, but actions speak louder than words.

Google doc of Dorsey's donations:
docs.google.com...

As much as I don't like the guy, it would be ignorant to deny people the ability to change.

I'm not even saying he's going to change.

You guys are letting your hate blind you.

Would it not be a good thing if Jack and Twitter changed their business model to give people the ability to speak their mind without risk of reprisal?

Or do you hope that Twitter keeps doing what it's doing so you can continue to hate on it?

And all of the above could be bunk. We have one message from the LPMC and one from Jack. Where the LPMC reached out to initiate conversation using something in common.

I for one am not making any rash determinations. I'm intrigued to see what, if anything, comes from this.

For all I know, Jack Dorsey could just be interested in any number of things that the MC represents, and I like to think that people can change.

But I get it if people want to continue to hold on to hate. Jack Dorsey must have really #ed your life over somehow.

Hate ?

Nope, none of this "they hate Jack because they hate jack in a vacuum, poor victim, poor him"

Nothing to do with "hate": my approach is fact-based analysis based on the guy's and Twitter's own totalitarian actions.

Totalitarian behavior has a well-documented history of destroying the lives of tens millions.
Up to him and Twitter to remedy their fascist, controlling behavior.

Such absolute control-freaks are rarely good people on a personal basis.

It's simple really - JACK: stop being a controlling jerk.
Do it.
Sure, I'd like Jack and Twitter to change, but I'm a realist

Cheers

Twitter investors based on this morning TWTR plunge.
Doxing of millions on Twitter.

But no censoring of pedophiles on Twitter

Brilliant

Oh no the investors. I guess that's the whole risk part of investing.

But hell man. I guess they deserve it for investing in an evil company like Twitter? I guess they should have seen it coming, or maybe they sat on it too long, or are just kicking themselves in the ass for not selling off quicker than everyone else.

Are you saying Twitter is responsible for the doxxing of millions of people? Or are the people who use it responsible for it?

Twitter provides protection against doxxing, but there's only so much that can be done to deter would be doxxers.

And the whole child pornography thing? That's on all social media. It's not exclusive to Twitter.

Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Kik, Likee, just to name some major ones. It's spread using "anomymous" file share programs and messengers as well including DropBox, Mega, Whatsapp, Line, Whisper.

And on all of those services CP accounts get user reported, banned, and reported to law enforcement.

If you really want to get pissy about the dissemination of CP look no further than the law enforcement agencies around the world who take over CP accounts and image boards to keep them running and attract pedophiles.

When Twitter or any other company becomes public, it means the leadership has a FIDUCIARY duty to its new owners, the stockholders, retirees and pension funds among them. Jack is free to take Twitter private if he wants to waste INVESTOR money. Or he can face the SEC...

Public company means public shareholders have final say, not you Jack! Again, see SEC...again...

The fact that many other platforms are just as depraved as Twitter is NO excuse. Competing for the morality-free bottom, are we ?

Fact is other communication firms focus on their job, providing good communications and a fair deal while making money for shareholders and not serving as a censorship platform, think of AT&T, Verizon, Orange, etc.

And these have been truly cooperating with law enforcement far more and for far longer than Twitter

But Jack does not measure up.

Well maybe instead of been obsessed with narcissistic virtue-signalling, Jack should focus his Twitter efforts not on suppressing free speech as he does but on:
1. Eliminating from his platform pedophiles, as they gravely harm children
2. eliminating from his platform Antifa, as with their "Chaz" zone are not only actually doing true insurrections but are getting people KILLED.

Priorities, Jack.
Either:
- do the right thing and protect children and prevent Chaz zone murders
Or
- maintain your narcissistic, far-left, look-at-me worldview

Pick one.

Narcissists NEVER do the right thing.
