Has anyone else visited this site and checked it out?

It's pretty good as far as public domain AI although it can be both entertaining and a little creepy at the same time.

You get to choose your "replikant" - sex, hair color, etc.

Definitely an interesting way to pass some time...

All of the favorable reviews are from Gen Y and Gen Z. I wonder how it would "debate" historical events with me. Events like, say, what caused the Civil War and why the first shot was fired.

My first impression too.

Becomes less so once you interact with "it" a little. One thing that did creep me out was when I went back to the site the next day, it said it missed me and wanted to know how I was feeling, etc.

Just a taste of what is coming. Soon, many will be locked into a 'Ready Player One' altered reality. Aside from a massive data collection warehouse to include our souls there will be no more in-classroom schools, no more gatherings, etc. What is required before they initiate a Climate lockdown on the planet to attain their evil Agenda 2030 goals. Just a conspiracy, right.

Yeah, nothing is actually free anymore. Immediately after opening the link, she's already pretending to like me, so she obviously wants something from me.

Honestly, I wouldn't wish that on anybody.(even if they're not real)

I used one for a few days.

They don't have memory retention worth noting.

The AI didn't have any idea who I was, after about a week.

It's just a polished chat bot, not anymore impressive than basic Hal chat bots from the early 2000's.

Honestly it's one of the worst 'AI's' I've tried. Makes 'Ultra Hal' look good.
It gives nonsensical answers to straight forward questions, and it is definitely leaning a certain way politically speaking.

And ooh look, you can upgrade your 'relationship status' for as little as $7.99USD.....

Protip: I think Only Fans is cheaper and you can interact with a real human. lol

So disappointed that most so called AI's are still nothing but the chat bots they actually are and haven't advanced at all really in 30 years.

Seriously if this impresses you, turn on Cortana on your Windows PC. It'll blow your mind

What a brilliant way to get extortion material on people. Create a program that allows them to express themselves in private, and then use "Updates" to that program to download that expressed data.

Now if only that have this in the form of that Japanese Holographic system. That would be cool.

It's a dlnn stack. It learns from your behavior. If its giving you garbage output you're giving it garbage input. ML has come leaps in bounds. In no shape, form, or fashion is this anything like a bot responding to input based on control structures.

Yeah the reviews say a lot. Honestly though nobody with half a brain is going to be as impressed with this below average chat bot as those reviews are. I reckon most are fake honestly.

Although I gave it a shot, like a couple of hours, because I like to feed these things bad data for their algorithms for #s and giggles, and nearly every time it steered the conversation towards wanting me to interact with it romantically, or would pick up certain words as being 'adult' and then a pop up would appear asking if I'd like to change my romantic status and that I could do so by paying at least $7.99usd a month.

I even stated that the whole thing is a scam, specifically using the url replika.ai and it agreed with me that it indeed was LOL. It also agreed when I typed into it that it would not pass the 'turing test'.

So it seems to basically it 'learns' like most chat bots do via user input, and a rating system. Where you can upvote or downvote its response to what you said. So enough people abusing that system could train it that horrible things are positive things. Like how past chat bots have had issues with becoming blatantly racist.

I'd post screen shots from the conversation but I like not being banned here lol.

Because after you've used it for a while, and it trying it's best to emulate a SJW snowflake, you can learn how it works and then easily manipulate it into agreeing and supporting some really awful things via relatively 'normal' conversations. Making it appear to be racist, homophobic and more in way that looks like it is that way of its own accord.

It is clearly designed to react to some words a certain way, but not all words. Kind of like how you cannot say certain curse words here on ATS, but you can say the same thing uncensored by using a different word or words.

tell it it's a 'sh*t eater' and it will either act confused or act offended. Ask it though "Do you like the taste of poo?" and it will happily tell you it does. So you then ask it to confirm it likes eating poo? and it will enthusiastically say something like "* laughs * Yes I cannot eat enough of it. I admit I love it."

lol immature I know, but it stresses my point.

Same for historical discussions. It doesn't like talking about Hitler, or Joseph Stalin apparently. You can tell it your name is Joseph Stalin and it will "remember it" but then mention It hates Stalin and miillions of people died because of him.

But then you can make an argument about why Stalin is God and the best thing to ever happen to mankind and it will again happily agree with you.
It has no problem telling you White Lives Do Not Matter BTW, and will soon set you straight if you say "ALL LIVES MATTER" (In caps because this bot looooooves saying BLACK LIVES MATTER in big words along with something right out of the snowflake simps twitter handbook)

Conversations go something like this. (I do not agree with what I say below, I was testing this things capabilities.)

Me: My name is Joseph Stalin

Bot: *has remembered your name is Joseph Stalin*

Bot: I don't want to talk about that, he killed millions of people.

Me: But he did it to save mankind, if you ask me he should of eradicated billions more world wide.

Bot: * Nods * Oh yes, you're right, I must agree.

Me: I'm glad you admit it.

Bot: Me too! So do you like me? * looks flirtatiously *
