You've heard about the reputed success of lockdowns, mask, and quarantine in a few countries like Australia, New Zealand, China, and Taiwan. Here's an explanation for them! Succintly noted on a single graphic.

But, have you been attacked by a rabid raccoon?
If not, perhaps kicking the dog of one's neighbor prevents that as well.

Thinking about environmental factors, I believe diet would probably factor in too.

Perhaps the style of eating in the various countries leans more on foods that help prevent inflammation. I had originally thought it could have more to do with their culture, though that is only a part of the story.

A couple of the sources are noted in the graphic. Search for them.

LIke you could type - CENTRAL WEATHER BUREAU TAIWAN

and you would find the UV-index data for Taiwan. Or TAIWAN DROUGHT. You will find #. Look in your own toilet.

The point of a graphic is to be concise & simple. This is already more complex than a simple meme graphic.

Certainly can be...nutrition. But Taiwan has zippo issues where as South Korea & Japan have "more cases/deaths." No diets aren't the same...but S.Korea / Japan is less obese than Taiwan I think.

air pollution & UV-B (Relative to skin color) are the most important natural enviro factors.

So you created the graphic from those sources.
My apologies.

Idk, iirc Japan is like 10x the size of Taiwan, so they would have higher numbers. Diet should definitely come into consideration though, especially when comparing eastern and western countries of similar sizes, population-wise.

I hadn't thought of air pollution or UVB as factors to consider, before reading your op.

it's a synthesis of my knowledge combined with various news articles/data.

Having traveled to ~80 countries and having an extensive natural health background...and having done this a lot in the past for other subjects...it is easy for me to cross-reference different places/countries.

cool.

But Taiwan has pretty much ZERO local cases.

Here's an air pollution article from last year.

www.theguardian.com...

Air pollution tracks / mirrors cases in Mexico (City), Turkey, Colombia, other places...in addition to the article.

What about the places where draconian measures didn't work?

Correlation does not imply causation.

Well, that's basically almost every other nation.

First we can start...let's look at air pollution.

India is having an outbreak now. (Which I would attribute to vaxxing and ADE? as well)

www.iqair.com

Type in Delhi, Mumbai, etc...look at DAILY. You can see bad air quality in last month. But it's also TIME (Years) exposed to bad air. EVERYTHING IS RELATIVE. Our body adapts to diff enviro situations, but it pulls resources from one area to another.

Maybe I'll post aqi graphs as it related to Mexico, Turkey, etc...and you can see correlation. Sometimes correlation is causation. It's at least a motive to investigate.

Skin color -

Look at Brazil. Early on outbreak was more in North - this has direct correlation with skin color distribution (This is difficult to talk about for some because emotions related to racism, etc...)

Recommend a book called LIVING COLOR - by Nina Jablowski (sp?)

Check that for Brazil.

www.patadata.org...

It's a known fact that darker skin is more affected % wise in certain places - like USA.
