Nice... I've noticed lots of words switched around like that lately...

Racism for example...

Yesterday's racism: a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

Today's revised racism: prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized.

Because calling someone prejudiced just doesn't carry the same weight I guess, so it was revised and turned into "racist".

These are the Merriam Webster definitions of vaccine from 2017 until today.

Those are from waybackmachine.

Here is today...

Merriam Webster

I posted this in another thread about the definition of virus being changed, but thanks for making it a topic, it needs to be brought to light. Just another PROOF that the mRNA "vaccine" is not a vaccine.

Here's another one.. No wonder the kids aren't alright. The brainwashing is in their education system (not that WE didn't know that).

2021 bigot: one who regards or treats the members of a group (such as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance.

actual bigot: A person who is obstinately and unreasonably wedded to a particular religious creed, opinion, practice or ritual.

[Neat...now link me to a single one that has ever had phase 4 approval from the FDA....

Don't give a shart. The cigarette I'm smoking right now is much more dangerous than the mRNA vaccine, as is the virus itself.

I get my second jab a week from today, and I'll laugh in international travel this summer as we already had plans to visit my family in the UK.

You realize people smoked cigarettes for years before we understood the harmful affects? This is an absolutely laughable comparison you've made.

i'm surprised that many do not seem to know that words do in fact have their definitions change as usage changes.

the only language that never changes is one that has died.

Really, Latin seems pretty static to me.

you're kidding, right? latin is used as a ceremonial language. there are no living speakers of latin who use it as their primary language. that is why it is widely known as a dead language and it does note evolve or change meaning. english changes meaning and adds new words and expanded definitions constantly.

you do not seem to be responding because you have anything to add, but because you are trying to waste my time.

Anyway, I don't see the issue with evolution of knowledge, and the associated language

Both my son and I are pretty fluent in Latin. I believe it remained unchanged for over 1000 years and was still the official language of the Vatican until a few years ago.

Why not waste your time, you spend most of your time on here wasting others.

Redefining terms is most good.

If they didn't redefine terms, we would have a full blown crisis at the border with illegal aliens. Instead, we just have a situation with migrants and refugees which requires minimal attention.

If they didn't redefine terms, we would have had violent riots across the country with murder. looting, and property destruction. Fortunately, we just had fiery but peaceful protests.

Greetings plebes.
Please go to the nearest whatever we say thing, and receive your C-1984 jibber-jabber.
Here's one happy plebe :

Hi. My name is Jimmy Jibber-Jabber. I jist went down to Carl's Guns, Liquor, and Vaxxscheme Emporium, to get my monthly dose. One of the friendly clerks took me-out in the back-alley, and administered me the anal vaxxscheme. It took a while for him to push it in there, and it still hurts a bit. Feels like I gited poked, or sumthin. Butt he told me it was my patriotic duty, and that it would save old Granny Clampett. Saw a few other folk walking around town, rubbin their be-hinds, so at least I know it's a standard schmientific thang, or sumthin. Next time I'm a-gonna wear my NWO flag underwears !

The words written in this post, are using the definitions, as of this instant.
This post does not use the definitions as of one hour ago, and so-on further back in time.
This post does not use the definitions as whatever they will become in the near and distant future.

We are not responsible for those reading this post in the future, which would be their now, but perhaps not our now, unless you consider that we may probably, or possibly, be in the same now as the reader, at the time they are reading, but may have moved-on to some other thing, maybe.

This message is a public-service announcement, from The Ministry of Truthiswhatwesayitis.

Thank-you, now get back to your Ilovemyjob.

( PS : Thanks for the OP !! Jist havin sum fun... LoL !! )

In the New-Sortakinda-Officialish-Nothin-Dictionary :
That word has been changed to : " CEO of The Pedophile-Protection-Corporation. "

Languages are fluid.
Definitions are fluid.
Grammar is fluid.
Solids are fluid.
Truth is fluid.
George Fluid : is fluid.

Anything is nothing, and something :: is whatever the heck we say it is !!

Don''t forget :: tomorrow,, is double--punctuation Fridays !!

Brags about smoking then virtue signals the jab.
Sheer class. What a brave individual.

And everyone stood up and clapped....

That said I struggled to see any difference between the two definition and updating a definition to fit broader reality isn’t a bad thing outright.
I honestly don’t see any issue with the actual topic being discussed.

I don’t get people lauding over vax makers either. When did big pharma become trust worthy good guys? What did I miss?

I'll try to explain it to you a bit.

Prior to 2008, a bigot was someone who was simply just intolerant of others for a specific reason whether it was religion, politics, etc. After Obama was elected, if you disagreed with any of his policies or said something mean about him, you were called a bigot and a racist. Once they were called out for using the terms wrong, they were suddenly changed. Now you can't be a bigot unless you show "hatred" or intolerance to an ethnic group. That does, of course, eliminate people of color from being bigots. The terms are being changed and reworded to where they only reflect negatively against white people.

Thanks to sh*t like that, now black celebrities can tell the world via social media that their lives have been ruined because of white people, but white people can't say the same even though they have a target on their back.

Democrats are dividing us because they know the truth would empower all of us and we would turn them.

Dictionaries dont determine how we use words. It only documents contemporary usage.

Why the issue?

But nowadays it perfectly describes your post.
Actually. It doesn't. He is correct.

In 2017 that did describe vaccines which were in use. This is 2021. There is now a new way to induce immune response, which is the same thing as saying "produce or artificially increase immunity." The only difference is in the precise method of doing so.

The precise way of not knowing how long the modified cells will produce the irritant. Or if the produced protein is close enough to produce any immunity at all. The precise way of using synthetic RNA and combining it with your cells.

The precise way of maximizing Covid-19 deaths, minimizing vaccine deaths and reactions. Removing any other (more effective completely safe treatments) force funneling the public to RNA vaccines.
