Lumber prices are up nearly 260% since April 2020, But Logs Are Still Dirt Cheap

Are you guys that oblivious? The fuel prices and prices of log's are not the only issue's here. Do you think that they just cut the logs into lumber and ship them out? Pressure treating is another huge part of it, imagine what is in that cocktail of chemicals! Supply never caught back up with demand from last year. How essential was lumber for purposes of trade last year? The border closing didn't help. [US and Canada]
