The police didn't do anything wrong in this case. Being 16 does not make a human being not a deadly threat. Being black does not mean the officer is racist or targeting her for being black. A knife is as deadly a weapon as a gun.
You just don't want to get granular about the reasons why a shooting like this might happen.
