Canada is toast.

Many police agencies in Ontario are refusing to enforce the new restrictions on movement.
Many of our politicians have banded together calling for an end to the lock downs and tyrannical measures that do not fit the circumstances.
Many of our citizens are waking up...speaking out and starting to push back.
We may go to H E double hockey sticks and back fighting for our rights and freedoms but so be it.

I agree. Something just changed recently.

I was at work last week, outdoors at a nursery, and a woman screamed at me "don't come near me, you don't have a mask on" and she started backing up. My boss later said not to worry as he had explained to her that I'm exempt. I started to explain that I was over ten feet from her and he's said " Yes, I know, I saw it happen"

This week I was off work and the boss sent me a message saying the exemption isn't good enough now, I need a mask. WTF! So he is being pressured somehow.

That and people in this town are insane with fear now. Sad because it used to be a feisty little town that fought against new government rules and wasteful projects.

You said you had an exemption so I will guess you have a problem with breathing if you have your airways covered? Just goes to show you how they don't care about saving lives but pushing an agenda.

So what legal options do you have? US citizen so don't know squat about how Canada's system of discrimination against those with health issues would apply.

Then again after remembering what I watched in the video, I guess it doesn't matter what the law says anymore because it can be changed at a whim.

yes that was our solicitor general, lots of confusion here about new measures, they always roll crap out, we backlash it and somewhere in between we find a medium thats acceptable for now.

all of our police forces across the province banded together and said they will NOT enforce the new measures, especially stopping people and cars at random.

basically dispersing larger crowds with no masks and big gatherings.

lots of cops took to witter to denounce the measures and told people not to worry, i guess there will be the usual bad cops but most seem to be in agreement of not harassing the everyday person.

kinda nice to know they feel that way.
Lots of doctors here also want outside restrictions lifted a bit more as it s better to be outside than cooped up indoors.
Yesterday they closed the playgrounds, just opend them back up today, so thats good.

the politicians were all pretty nasty at that conference in the video you posted.

Most of us are willing to abide and wear a mask but we are getting tired of being blamed for everything getting worse.

But like I said in the other one, our local police force, in northern Ontario, put out a statement saying they won’t enforce it.
I just drove back from picking up our take out and there’s a ful blown concert going on at the park down the road.
Idiots shoulder to shoulder. I didn’t see a single mask in crowd.
Little kids running around...
Looked like they were having a damn good time.

It's good that your police for the most part see the folly in it. In the end, it's the ordinary citizen who prevents out-of-control politicians from taking it too far.
