Bit of 'revenge' by Putin on Biden calling him a killer? Then of course we have Biden's son and his shenanigans in Ukraine which seems to have melted away.
I'm with ufoorbhunter, let Russia have the slice of Ukraine. I remember watching a very interesting documentary with interviews with Putin, he has never forgotten what happened in the Crimea war. Letting him have it is left field and will dilute any argument Russia or China might have.
If it came down to the nitty gritty, I honestly don't believe Russia will back China, totally different type of communism and Putin knows it. He, like his ancestors need the will of their people behind them. It has always been the case. China as in CCP might find 'the will of the people' does not support them, particularly if somebody comes knocking at the door offering them freedom from their 'credit' system

The UK is the only country with any kind of defense, and even that isn't intimidating anymore.. The rest have been letting the US pay for their defense since WW2 and have gotten weak.

We have Neville Chaimberlain as our current president, so if I were Russia and China, I'd make the most of the lack of spine and leadership in the US.

Obama and now Biden were trying to install a US controlled government in Ukraine.
Thats why the protests and violence during Obama's time happened, Russia new what the US was trying to do so they got involved.

Imagine if Russia performed a overthrow of the Mexican government.. the US would immediately send in troops as well.

Russia has sent a clear message, they will not allow the US To take Syria or Ukraine.

If Biden is stupid enough to restart Obama's goals, then I'd expect Russia to react.

To date, Russia has been very cunning and very up front about protecting its national security and the security of others when the US tries to get involved.
