The reason the black student perpetrated the hoax has not yet been revealed...but it can be reasonably assumed that it was done to stir up outrage, hate and distrust against white people.

What the hoax DID achieve was to waste law enforcement resources, while causing fear, anxiety and distrust throughout the campus population.

The only thing that will likely stem the tide of t his kind of crap is if these asshats are billed for all of the wasted resources...

Imaging these kids (and their parents/guardians) getting billed for tens of thousands of dollars for this garbage. Or imagin the local BLM chapter getting the bills for the damages done during their riots (and I believe BLM has the money to pay, even if the founders are forced to sell their mansions to do so)?

I think it would come to a screeching halt pretty fast.
