Yep, it must have been quite weak from not having eaten for a while. I heard that there had been severe droughts in the area and their natural habitat and food source had dried up. I'm surprised it was even able to climb to the top.

Looks more like it was trying to escape a perceived threat, rather than looking for a feed.

That's a distinct possibility. It may have entered looking for food, but then got spooked by the people inside and not finding an escape route, decided the only way was up!

Or, the prices were just too much for it and the top shelf had the best offers!

Or, it just wanted to be at the top of the food pyramid!
