If it was really bad for Ted Cruize to go to Mexico for a quick weekend during the power outage, then why is it not bad for the President and Vice President to ignore the Border during a giant crisis? From an uneducated eye, it looks similar. Now I don't think Cruize could have done anything substantial to help during a power outage, but the optics were indeed bad. Are the optics better here?

It's a simple question, and should only require simple answers.

Harris is 'in charge' of the border 'challenge'.

She apparently doesn't like to micro-manage.... or manage at all for that matter.

And if the optics aren't bad enough, there's the hostile defense of it:

White House press secretary Jen Psaki fired back at a reporter who questioned why Kamala Harris went to a Chicago bakery when she still hasn't addressed the mounting crisis at the border.

'She got a snack,' Psaki quipped. 'I think she's allowed to do that.'

Psaki snaps when asked why Kamala went to a bakery, not the border

It was a reasonable question by the reporter -- why hasn't Kamala done her job and personally inspected the crisis conditions at the border -- and there could have been a reasonable answer... but Psaki didn't give a reasonable answer. Her retort was not only rude and irresponsive to the question, but was downright contemptuous. And after the holy hell their party raised when it was Trump in charge, promising they would do better, the retort is particularly offensive.

I didn't like the contempt and spitefulness Trump showed too often. And I don't like this contempt and spitefulness any better. Especially when small children are in harm's way... let me rephrase the: Especially when THEY put these children in harm's way.

The fact she hasn't even been to the border when this is at crisis levels is a testament to how hypocritical the left is... where is AOC crying at the border? Could you imagine the negative press Trump would be getting? Think how bad the press was under Trump with this issue when he was actively trying to address it and it was half of what it is now.

Remember how the press slammed Bush for Katrina because he had the audacity to fly over and wasn't in pontoon boat or going house to house himself looking for survivors? Heckuva job, Brownie!

Now not a quip from the press....

The problem is the can't have Biden or Harris at the border because at that point, the own the crisis. It also admits that their policy was a failure from day one and Trump was right. Their absence is all about trying to control the narrative and skirt ownership.

And that just adds to the rest -- first telling us that the Thieves-in-Chief were not even being briefed on the situation (really???), even if the Thieves-in-Chief are... um... too busy with other things, they haven't sent anyone to check on the conditions personally, they've offered no improvements or any further plans at all, and they certainly haven't expressed any alarm or concern about the conditions, much less the welfare of all these kids.

...where is AOC crying at the border?

I'm thinking that empty parking lot isn't empty any more... can't actually face the consequences of their actions, right?

Could you imagine the negative press Trump would be getting? Think how bad the press was under Trump with this issue when he was actively trying to address it and it was half of what it is now.

If Trump, they'd be calling for a literal insurrection and an armed invasion of the White House.

Either that, or they'd just save the pics for the next Republican in the White House and claim it happened under the GOP's watch.

The state investigating the Feds:

BRE AKING: Governor Greg Abbott Opens Investigation Into Joe Biden's Alleged Abuse Of Children At The Border

Two separate state agencies received reports of child abuse and neglect occurring at the Freeman Coliseum, problems Abbott says “are a byproduct of [President Joe] Biden’s open border policies and lack of planning and fallout from those disastrous policies.”

He said his administration uncovered four problems related to the housing of these children in San Antonio. They are being sexually assaulted, there are not enough staff to supervise them, some are not eating throughout the day, and those who have tested positive for the coronavirus are not being physically separated from others.

“In short,” Abbott added, the situation is a “health and safety nightmare.”

In response, he directed the Texas Rangers to lead an investigation into the allegations, which will be led by Ranger Richard Henderson.

“President Biden caused this crisis and has repeatedly failed to address it,” Abbott said. “He opened the borders,” failed to plan how to receive the flood of people and now faces “allegations of despicable abuse and neglect,” Abbott said. “The Biden administration is presiding over the abuse of children.”

Abbott called on the Biden administration to shut down the San Antonio facility immediately. He also said the children need to be moved somewhere else.

(Bolding is mine)

For too long, the Feds attitude has been "anything the States can do, we can do better" -- and it's an outright lie. And, of course, the Dems likewise have been "anything the Pubs can do, we can do better" -- also a lie. History and reality tell us they don't do better. But the Feds (Dems) harassed, intimidated and bullied States (Pubs) any way they could anyway... 'cause that's really all they've got. They got way too big for their britches.

State tyranny is bad enough, but at least we can learn from other states, and change our own state laws, and even move to other states if necessary. But when it's Federal, it's the whole nation that's screwed with little to no recourse. Hence the 9th Amendment.

It's about damn time the States take them down again.

Democrat strategy is to stretch it out as long as possible to get maximum effect for impossible reversal solutions.

The big money is flowing faster than ever and they've got a ways to go yet before recovering what they've lost since 2017.

The whole MSM is working hard to make sure all the lies and bull# goes mostly unchallenged by all the experts going on shows and getting article interviews.

This morning FoxNews had the SECRETARY OF ENERGY (horrible mental case liar Jennifer Granholm) on with total lie horse# comments and it went unchallenged !!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A dozen people on TV so far today with complete horrible propaganda 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'd really like to see more Biden/Harris voters and Democrat supporters in general owning up to the fact that they got played and being more vocal about the lack of action from the current administration.

That requires them to be informed... which is a tall order.

Step 3 is exploit cheap labor from non-citizen class and sell smuggled goods/drugs that crossed the boarder.

Watch the latest video at foxnews.com

curious as to if this will work. A video of Hogan Gidley interviewed by Chris Wallace. I always thought Hogan was a bit slimy, but damn did he own this interview. Well done and great points.

eta:
well, not sure how to go about this, so here is the link to the website.
www.foxnews.com...
the article isn't about the video.
