Apparently some very very valuable "no-bid (no-#)" contracts were just handed out to some new outfit with some juicy ties to Biden !!

The Biden administration did not solicit bids for a multimillion contract to house migrant families in hotels and instead gave the massive contract to an organization whose leadership has ties to the White House, including one official who was on the Biden transition team.

In its rush to stand up facilities to hold families who come over the southern border illegally in rising numbers, the Biden administration signed a deal that a member of Congress and people with knowledge of the matter said presented a conflict of interest and wasted existing government facilities.

Last month, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (an agency of the Department of Homeland Security) signed an $87 million contract to acquire and oversee an operation involving 1,200 hotel beds to house migrant families in Arizona and Texas. The contract was given to the nonprofit organization Family Endeavors, based out of San Antonio, Texas, which has no previous history as an ICE contractor.

The liberals will think that Biden is doing a great job by quickly giving his associates all that money with no contract. Just think if our government did all of it's business like that, every government job I did had specific parameters and prices when I was getting paid with federal and state funds, and I had to sign a contract every single time for every job, even add ons needed to be approved.

In areas that did not have those rules, money disappeared quickly and they burned up the money on items that did not save the homeowner heating money. I did a lot of insulating jobs for a local program....everything needed to be accounted for and deemed necessary by rules governing the programs funding. I guess now, they are just going to hand out billions to agencies and businesses without required paperwork, lots of money disappears that way which is evident in the democrat states that got covid money.

From what I understand, Attorney General Merrick Garland has assigned every department, including the FBI, a role in Joe Biden's Gun reduction Executive Order(s). We'll know more on tomorrow (Thursday).

This isn't unusual and isn't necessarily corruption.

Some businesses have existing ties and have already complied with government regs and procedures. The fact that we know about these facilities and their ties shows that the system is running and that it is transparent.

I take it that you were all aware that transiting militarily personnel in Europe were routinely billeted in hotels associated with Trump?

For example cargo crew on layover in Scotland.

The biden administration has told United airlines to give migrants free flights, and told TSA to not screen them as carefully as they do American flyers.
