Yes, I agree, and certainly very few would know the full context of the story, that Floyd was contacted by police for distributing counterfeit money,
that he had ingested a huge amount of drugs and was combative/resistant to the police. All that is shown is the video of Chauvin kneeling on Floyd,
which I agree is a bad optic, but ignores the context and events leading up to that moment. It's a classic case of selective presentation and emphasis
of facts by the media.
These events are opportunities for professional rioters/anarchists to whip uninformed people into a furor and unleash them on the public. Since we
can't seem to get the media to fairly and honestly list out the facts of the event, our only recourse is to separate ourselves from the dangerous
uninformed people in the mobs, and if that fails, arm ourselves for protection.
