Do you think there will be guillotines?

Gullibleotines. Not the sharpest tools but we have quite a few.

My comment was made in jest. I wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings.

But if any heads do roll, it will probably be due to MS13 ne'er-do-wells wielding machetes. It already has happened in the US.

True, but the comments in jest are promising. And he can throw up some M13 tidbits for no good reason at all, off to the arsenal with the tool!

You're being mean again, stop beating a sick butcher! It's not a dead horse... yet. Unlike this pathetic thread with a somewhat entertaining twist.

In that case Megxit would have been a monumental mistake for the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex.

I mean you just didn't find royals eloping to France during the Revolution - the movement was very much the other way, no matter how liberal or libertine such royals claimed to be (same as the Bolshevik revolution in Russia).

We shall see, I guess.

In the meantime, don't lose your heads yet, Your Graces, perhaps save them for the scaffold.

I see the situation today more along the lines of the Red Guard of Mao's Cultural Revolution.

"Tear down everything before now and rebuild it how we want it today, and damn the consequences." seems to be the mantra of the day...

The only problem is that they can't decide how they want it today....and not everything that came before was bad....

But...But...."Shut up, Boomer!"

I weep for the future....

They've had it down as an art form 1500 years before the US revolution, it's a national hobby.

Whe I was living there even the riot police were on strike and rioting against the army for a month as the government were threatening to take their free bottle of wine with every meal while on duty (it's customary to drink at least one bottle by noon).

Most years there's week long protests on mass scale closng, ports, Paris, etc if the government threaten to remove rights or persue the wrong policy until the government reverses course. Around half the country takes part in the annual May Day protests (

In the US a couple of people set things on fire or inbreds take selfies in the Capitol and Darwin Award themselves and everyone crimes 'terrorist'.
