I do like the sound of it and had never heard of it so thank you!

In a little research of it I can understand now why I thought it sounded somehow Arabic.

And possibly the precursor to the lute.

Beautiful instrument, never seen it before. I've been on a Youtube binger watching videos of unique instruments.

You might appreciate this, artist made it himself, not a string instrument per-say, but does have a guitar built into it

Oh thank you. I wonder the lost instruments of ancient civilizations. I seen a guy on youtube playing an old sumerian song but I am kind of sure it wasn't meant to be played like that. Still a very good effort . a reply to: Lumenari

This is quite nice too. A chopstick piano. I think the guy built it himself. Very known stuff but still very nice sounding instrument plus song.
